The room temperature was just right. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Shower was a slippery but I found out soon enough to prevent a fall. Saturday and Sunday Breakfast was tasty. Dark Roast Coffee was delicious.

This hotel is an older hotel, that has a well-loved feeling. What this hotel doesn't have in pizazz it has in amenities and amazing staff. I can't speak highly enough of the staff, they were polite, professional, accommodating and helpful. One short conversation about transport to the airport saved me about 100$US. The bed were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. You need to ask to have the rooms cleaned if staying a few days. The area around the hotel looks rough, with lots of homeless but they are not a bother, and they don't approach you. There is also a lot of street security, a good police presence and security from other local hotels. There are some good food options around, including a Starbucks linked to the hotel for all you hot and cold drinks. breakfast was included, and it's very American style, but with good variety. decent gym! (not just cardio options) Would stay here again!!! I have also fed back directly with the hotel, I was that impressed

Front desk staff Carl was excellent. Very kind and friendly. He made sure everyone was safe and looked out for our kids when they were coming up to the room from the pool. He didnt have to but when a suspicious person entered in the same elevater as them he ran to the elevator and hopped on to be sure they got off elevator safely and to our room. Kids age 12 and 15 FYI

The $52 valet is less than helpful. Staff was often not present at the front desk. The area is dangerous at night, and turns in to a homeless retreat at night. All night street racers keep you up racing up and down the street and are extremely loud.
