We originally saw this condo unit during one of our day trips to daufuskie island and thought how fun would it be to stay there? Next year we found this listing and didn’t hesitate to book, and will be a spot we continue to come back to each year. The location was great - ocean front, with a pool, the property itself matched the pictures exactly. There was minor items that could use some updating such as some of flooring was separating/splitting, one of the sink drains didn’t work, the AC must have been on a schedule and we would wake up in the mornings with it getting hotter in the unit but we were able to adjust with the thermostat, the beds could have used a topper of some sort as the mattresses as they were a bit hard, but again mostly cosmetic and personal preference and nothing that would make me not want to come back. The owner of the property was great to answer any and all questions we had and even provided a big packet with anything and everything you would need to know about the island before and during your stay. It was one of our favorite vrbo’s we’ve booked and will be back!

This is a little piece of heaven! The unit is exactly as described. The Villa is located in a very remote portion of the island and right on the beach. My husband and I enjoyed watching the sunrise right from the balcony. The Villa is furnished in very calm and peaceful colors and fabrics. Kristin has thought of everything including many books, puzzles and even cards to enjoy your down time. The golf cart was the icing on the cake, providing us with transportation on the island during our sight seeing. We explored every inch of the island and talked with locals. They are so very nice and are also a wealth of knowledge. If you are looking to really get away, Daufuskie Island is the place to go.

Perfect Family Vacation
The property was more than perfect for our family of 4. Unfortunately, my in laws weren’t able to make the trip as planned due to the storm coming though. However, there was plenty of room to accommodate them. There are 3 king size bedrooms with a connecting bathroom in each allowed privacy for each room. We liked the open floor plan, direct access to the beach, board games, and the kindest hosts. Kristen was very responsive and considerate. The only downside was the elevator was broken during our visit (not the hosts’ fault). If it does go out, be prepared to walk up 3 flights of stairs. We would definitely stay here again.

Just paradise!
Kristin was amazing! She answered all our questions and provided great information for check in and accommodations. Cleaning crew was not having their best day, so she had them come back and touch up for us. Not her fault at all!! Great host with a beautiful condo! Will definitely stay there again!

This destination is for those who truly want to get away! The condo is perfect in every way. It’s spacious and clean, the beds are comfy, and everything is very up to date. The Blinson’s think of everything you’ll need…just bring your swimsuit, sunblock, and food!

Great long weekend.
We loved our stay here! We did a girls weekend with my mother and my daughter. While it took some work to get the transport to the island set up coming in from Savannah (I think it is a bit easier to come in from Hilton Head) - it was worth every bit of hassle to set it up. The condo is gorgeous and the island vibe is very chill and relaxed. Kristen was great to work with and super helpful! We fully plan to come back again - hopefully soon!

Storms
This property was wonderful. We were stuck inside because it rained almost the whole time we were there. I am so thankful the condo was nice and big and gave us plenty of space. I was not impressed with the beach and ocean. The ocean looked like lake water. The beach was covered with dead jellyfish and the smell was horrible. The Daufunski atmosphere was really cool. Enjoyed the dirt roads and traveling in a golf cart. If we had nice weather I think I would loved the atmosphere. Eating out was limited. There is only one place to go out to eat in the evening. Because of the storms, most everything closed. I probably wouldn’t go back because of the nasty beach and ocean. If this place had a nice beach it would be heavenly.

More than a piece of Haven
I would give this property a 10!!! First of all, the location is great, we enjoyed listening to the ocean. We especially like the 3rd. Floor because the 4th floor gave you a lot of shade. The 4th floor could be brutal with full Sun. The property was CLEAN and came with all the amenities including Beach Chairs and beach Towels (an added Plus). There are two outdoor gas grills which was a nice touch. We actually planning our next visit there for next year! This island is WONDERFUL, however you need to plan ahead for food. On Saturday there is a small farmers market on Haig Pt Rd. vegetables, fresh fish, Shrimp but no Meats. The two general stores have very limited supplies. The Old Daufuskie Crab Company is the place to Eat and Hang Out. The Pubic Dock is the BEST spot for Sunset Pictures!!!! On a side note: we use Bull Marina on Wilmington Island, there are two Grocery stores nearby to stock up on food. But Don’t go crazy with ice, it adds weight to the boat. We froze some of our food! Otherwise, enjoy this Property and Island!!! It’s like stepping by in time!

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!
The perfect vacation rental for our 20th anniversary! We had never been to the island, but we soon found out that we chose the right place. The beach behind this unit is the best on the island. Clean and quiet! The owner thought of everything possible. There truly isn't anything negative to include in this review. No disappointments here!!

Wonderful Oceanfront Condo on A Spectacular Island
If you are planning on staying on Daufuskie choose this condo. Spacious, airy, and a very clean space. Great oceanfront view feet from long walks on the beach. Setup is great for two or three couples or two couples with a couple of children. Huge balcony! Condo includes a washer and dryer and a golf cart rental with Daufuskie Life (five star service). I highly recommend this rental.

Great views
We loved the condo! The views and the short, easy walk to the beach made the week more enjoyable. The beach is quiet and clean and we loved taking long walks and checking out the driftwood and homes. The golf cart was an added plus and we enjoyed driving around to check out the island and the awesome moss covered trees.

The 2nd time around
The island is beautiful and peaceful. We have fell in love with Defauskie and this beautiful condo. Its located in the perfect spot and everything you would need as if you were at your house! The owner was nice and very easy to work with. The people on the island are very pleasant and full of history! We hope to make it back again in 2024!
