Rented a room so we could enjoy the night swimming with my kids. Couldn’t even get into the pool. There had to be about 80 kids under the age of 13 in the pool. Screaming yelling throwing stuff. It was awful. There was only one adult in the pool with the kids. Adults all sitting around the pool all drinking alcohol. Hotel staff came to the door to look in and walked away. I was so up set and disappointed. The food for breakfast the next day was awful. The eggs were the grossest eggs I’ve ever eaten. Everything was mush and cold.

It was a nice hotel and e relaxing, but I wish there was a hot tub, or the pool was really warm, it was warm, but not warm enough for how cold it has been

When we went to our room it was open soap on the counter. Then the bed had no sheets the ball up blanket in the chair and pillows on the tables. On the way two the room there were to trays sitting on the floor in the hallway. There were about 15 kids running in the hallways all night. When we go to elevator the kids said there friend jacks off to us. It took 47 minutes to get another room. After that we just made the best of it. The breakfast in the morning was great and the man that makes the omettles was great . In my opinion after coming here for many years it has gone down and needs some new rules. To make this hotel great again

Room cleanliness needs improvement

Housekeeping was not good 1 Spare Blanket had hair in it and looked like dryed food 2 The refrigerator worked well but the installer either put the counter top way too low and it stuck out wouldnt fit 3 No creamer no stirred sticks for coffee 4 The bottle of hair conditioner was empty 5. Crumbs and dirt between the sofa and end table not a little a lot The coffee table had spilled food/drinks on it I have stayed in high end hotels before never that much neglect Who inspects the rooms ? The front desk check in said i had to pay a $30.00 deposits Well ok...whats it for, she told me it was if I ordered Room Service said there is $ 10.00 parking fee that would come out of the $30.00 deposit. WHAT !!!!! Sorry no photos Hilton/Embassy would not like my pictures Deposit was not on my checkout receipt I will keep watching my CC account

Just Like Old Times

My wife and I use to frequent this property pre-covid and everything was wonderful. We decided to visit again as we brought our daughter to her first Pistons game and everything is just as great as we remembered. We were able to check in early and came to a room that was clean and had noticeable improvements. The breakfast options, especially the made to order omelets, are the best out of most of the hotels around. A small touch that many hotels do not have nor consider is having almond milk to accompany cereal or oatmeal. As someone who cannot have regular milk, this small gesture went a long way. We look forward to our next trip to Troy/Detroit; in which we will stay here again!
