Beware
I arrived at 2 am to the reception of the residence for which I prepaid reservation for 6 nights. Luxury homes and their apartment was unknown to the receptionist.
I called them several times till 5 am with no success. Supervisor and Hotels.com officer also tried that morning and day after all day with same results.
I wrote as well to dedicated messaging chanel on Hotels.com app: same result, no success.
It is true that on small print it says that I have to notify property about arrival 24 h prior
I made a reservation in another hotel of course as nobody was replying for days.
Actually I have received response on last day of my original reservation with info that they have sent me an email and sms( never received) about details of checkin.
Useless to say that refund was refused by them.
Honestly, I believe that Hotels.com should have strict policy who they let on their platform
