It is huge 4 story byilding with a big hall and loby. Room looks old and the furniture and bathroom requires update as they are like 1980s. The staff was helpfull. Let me checked in early without any extra charges. There is nothing at walking distance. I needed a cab even to go to a restaurant a mile away.

Had a layover explained to the manager we only needed the room for a few hours they still made us pay over 200 USD for early check in this was really unfair and purely greedy on the hotels part

Good Choice Close To The Airport

Having lived in Dubai for over 30 years, I am well aware of the hotel so I had no problem choosing it for my 36 hour stay while transiting the city. Breakfast was fine, the room was comfortable and a special shout-out to the staff working the Taky Bar by the pool - great service from them.

Pass

The first room smelled so badly of cigarettes I needed to be moved. That was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. The second room given, I was in the shower, and the drain was plugged, overflowing the shower area. The front desk moved me again. The manager on duty thinks it's ok for a guest to walk around the hotel half-wet in their pajamas. The third room didn't have any soap. I addressed the manager the following day. He wanted to give me a refund for my troubles but didn't. Worst stay ever. So bad, that I moved hotels.
