Family gathering for college graduation.
We had a lovely stay. The home is beautiful and exactly as described. I would stay here again without any hesitancy. We enjoyed the family history and appreciate that the home is available through VRBO. We hope to return again in the future.

Perfect Christmas Getaway!
Our family of 7 had the most wonderful stay! There were so many amenities (pool, hot tub, game room, outdoor scenery, etc.) that kept all of our kiddos (aged 7-14) busy and having fun! The house had more than enough room for us all, and we’re already thinking of excuses to come back and bring extended family. The house was so beautiful and the family history just added to its character and charm. Kristen was so hospitable, responded quickly to all questions, and even went out of her way to come by to check on something that ended up being a simple fix, on Christmas Eve of all days! I can’t speak highly enough about this wonderful place! We can’t wait to go back!

This house is amazing. It was clean and well stocked the pool and hot tub were great. So much to do at the house we didn’t even venture out much! The property managers were excellent and responded to all inquiries timely! Will definitely be back!

A Dream Getaway for Families!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible stay at this lovely rental! The cleanliness and spaciousness of the house were top-notch—making it a comfortable haven for both kids and parents. The multitude of entertainment options kept everyone happily engaged, creating some of our most cherished family moments here. However, what truly stole our hearts were the serene early morning walks around the snow-covered private pond. Sipping on a cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking views will forever be etched in our memory. This tranquil setting offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A huge thank you to the hosts for providing such a fantastic space that facilitated lasting family memories. We can't wait to return for more unforgettable experiences! ⛄🏡☕

The pictures do not capture the majesty of this place. It’s a huge property and, though only 3 bedrooms, one of those contains true king & queen sized bunk beds which could sleep 8 if necessary (plus the two pull out couches in the spacious living room, which could sleep another 4). The whole house is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, offering everything you need. There are bathrooms for each room plus an extra one, with a shower, that we called the pool bathroom. The TWO kitchens are well stocked, with plenty of keurig coffee options, creamers, and all the dishes/pots/pans/serving plates/etc you need for your stay. The indoor heated pool and hot tub are glorious for anyone, but especially those of us traveling with young kids - ours spent every moment at the house in that pool, which by the way, is just long enough to swim some short laps for those looking for a bit of exercise. The property is so spacious and well done, including the gorgeous outdoors space, you could throw an event there - like a small wedding or party and plan for overnight guests. Next to the pond is an cemented area framed by light poles and a bench, a perfect picture spot, and there’s a rock feature with metal animal art, a small playground, and some yard space outside. Also inside are a ping pong table, shuffleboard table, and games. The owners were immediately engaged and readily available. This property absolutely impressed and is definitely worth every penny!

Fabulous home! 13 people ages 8-73. So much space and everyone had a great time. Indoor pool was amazing along with the game room which included pool table and ping pong table. The hosts (Kristen and Mark) were just a phone call away if we needed anything. Highly recommend this place!

We came to Durango for outdoor activities, but this house offered us so many indoor activities, we were not bothered by the unseasonal heat wave. Great way to spend time with my adult children and there kiddos.

Cousin's trip
Our group consisted of 13 people ranging in age from 1 to 84. The rooms were large, the bunkroom had queen and king sized beds. Outdoor activities were close by and in the evening we hung out playing games and watching the basketball playoffs. Very nice place.

Fabulous home, wonderful caretaker and owners
We loved this home. The team and caretaker obviously take great care of the house. We received a few texts from the caretaker that were welcome, helpful, and the owner helped with an issue. The whole team was responsive. The home is very very clean, it’s amazing how wonderful and clean it is given the size! The pool, kitchen, rooms, beds, towels, everything was amazing. We did have a couple items we had to communicate about but the caretaker and owner helped immediately. This home is fabulous. I highly recommend staying. It’s grand, clean, fit for a royal good time!

Amazing place!
This home was amazing! It was very spacious and had plenty of room for the kids to run and play. The pool was amazing and made it so easy to keep the kids (and adults) busy. We had everything we needed to cook out. Great instructions throughout the house. Beautiful place, we will be back!

BEST Large Family Get-A-Way!
Our first large family summer vacation was a ton of fun as this property has it all! It had something for everyone from 2 to 72:) It had so much room no one got on any ones nerves. We had everything we needed for cooking, the beds were extremely comfortable and it happened to be the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever rented. The host were available and very nice. We were greeted with muffins, bananas and orange juice…what a treat! I would highly recommend this gorgeous home to anyone looking for a relaxing, and fun time.

The photos do not do this place justice! The whole place is massive and has wonderful Mountain views that weren’t really in the pictures. The property is very large and mostly private. The hosts were extremely helpful and let us check in early when we got to town early. This is a place we will truly never forget! Very charming!

The property was more than beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice. In a great location just minutes from downtown. No neighbors! Kids were able to really enjoy themselves without bothering anyone. The beds were comfy and the house has plenty of space for our large family! The hosts were very easy to reach, friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed! 10/10 would stay here again!
