This tiny home was spotless, well-stocked, and maintained. The hosts ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and even provided a few extras that gave our stay a personal touch. The location is close to some excellent areas for hiking and fishing. Roscoe, NY, is within about 20 minutes, and there are plenty of public access areas to fish along the way.
Two things to be aware of are the traffic noise and the loft. First, I sleep like a rock, so the traffic from the overpass did not bother me much, but my wife is a lighter sleeper, and noise from larger trucks disrupted her sleep. Second, the loft is a tight fit. Potentially perfect for smaller kids or teens, but getting in and out of the loft might pose a challenge if you have a few more grey hairs or are less spry now.
Regardless, I would return to this property if I wanted to fish in the area simply because the price to value is reasonable, and the hosts are genuinely lovely people. However, I would leave my wife at home.
If you and a friend are planning a fishing trip, this property is a great option with an excellent price point. Just be sure to give them the loft or the couch and take the master for yourself!
