Booking was very easy, and property group was quick to respond with booking questions. House was okay. Location was amazing! Beds were comfortable. Comforters looked a little less than clean. A shower door had been broken and there was glass in the shower, outside of the shower and on the baseboards. The carpets had large stains. Coffee pot was broken. All of the closet doors popped out, which wasn't a big deal. There was a bag of marshmallows under the bed. Legos in the floors...to randomly be stepped on. The screen door on the upper deck was broken. I called the non-emergency number just to let someone know about the shower door, but the mailbox was full. I emailed to let someone know the issues. Someone responded only about the glass shower door saying the owner was aware. They did not seem concerned about the glass everywhere. The most annoying part about the reservation was the pet fee. We were not going to bring out dog, but the dog sitter wasn't able to keep him. I emailed to get a price to bring him. I was quoted $20 per day. That would have been $60.00 for our trip. A few hours before check-in, while we were already driving, they called back and said it would be $150 now. They didn't know why it changed and said they had never seen anything like that before.
Overall, the house was okay. The property management group was not very good. The cleaning company was terrible.
