Awful place! Looks are very deceiving. When you walk in the lobby you think it’s a nice place but then you go to your room. Omg!! We left shortly after checking in! Room was dirty, hallways dirty, back doors going outside didn’t lock so anyone can get in at any time! Room door didn’t close all the way. I felt very unsafe and there was no way I was going to stay there!

I always stay at Hawthorne because it's so close to the airport and they provide a shuttle. They also have an excellent breakfast and got coffee hours before they serve breakfast. The check in was quick and easy and service is always nice. I recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I look forward to my next visit to El Paso.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was showing its age a bit with a little wear and tear on the ceiling, but everything was kept really clean. They have area shuttle service and the room had a full-size fridge, microwave, and stove top, all of which were very convenient. Overall, had a fine stay!

The appliances have started to look run down. Cracks on the sink, hot water on cold and cold water on hot, insufficiently clean, etc. It is clear that this hotel is not sufficiently staffed, and like in many other budget hotels in El Paso, this can be reflected in the quality
