Not handicapped friendly at all. Handicapped rooms farthest down hall
Long walk from elevator and restaurant and parking exits. No ocean view at that end of building even though so stated in description of room.
They use a freight elevator to transport wheelchair and scooters down to restaurant and young staff can never find key. The elevator then only takes you to lounge with limited seating and no access to seating below at windows with a view. Server for breakfast too young to provide alcoholic drinks like Mimosas. I ordered what I thought was a very expensive crab omelette for breakfast and it was just some crab folded inside a flat egg pancake with nothing else. No cheese or anything else. Totally disappointed. Clam chowder at dinner was indifferent and mostly just creamy soup without much else. Staff was pleasant. My overall opinion leaves much to be desired and after pushing my walker to room down a long hall I am tired and sore. We drove to other places to eat. Will not ever return.
I would NEVER stay in this place ever again. The beds were prison beds. They falsely advertised. Itâs not safe. The wiring alone is dangerous. I was homeless as a child. I would rather sleep outside.
We had to wait several hours after checking in to get a room that they said would have good AC, It did not. They told us we would be charged $150 for smoking in the room, the room reaked of cigarette smoke when we entered it, we notified them (hoping we wouldnât get charged for this. Telephone in the room was broken, we found hairs in the bed, and we had to call the front desk to come fix the TV because the satellite would work. They did come fix.
It was a cheap hotel, needs A/C updated in rooms, not really working but had window & door open, room & bed was nice but smelled like dog. Staff was excellent & very helpful, they raise the price on weekends with events like others. No frills, empty your own trash but had tv, microwave, fridge & separate bathroom.
