booked a room for move in day at uo for a good price but hotel was extremely dirty. looked like only the beds were made before we arrived and nothing else. there were splashes of something on the wall behind the tv that hadnt been wiped, crumbs on the floor, dirt and hair all on the carpet, and hair and dirt in the shower. i wish i had taken pictures but i got out of there as SOON as i could. not to mention the smell. omg the smell hit us as soon as we opened the door to the room. it was pungent. thats the only word i could think to describe it besides foul. it literally made us take a step back when we opened the door. there was also the sound of water running as well which wouldve kept me up if i had bothered staying. i felt so uncomfortable i didnt even want to sit on the bed or take my shoes off. the smell never got better either i wish i could've went nose blind but no there was still an odor. best way to describe it was musty and sweaty smelling. like someone had been running and in the sun and did not shower. microwave dirty. also it was cold so i went to turn some heat on and the freaking cover of the switch fell off. that was my last straw tbh. i was looking for hotels in the area right after that which was not cheap on such short notice. i will say the staff was very accommodating and understanding but they said after 10 minutes in the room they could not refund for that night only the nights we did not stay. which i understand but really 10 minutes?? dont stay here
Room was clean. We did laundry which is located at the back of the property. I felt safe using it. There is fast food in walking distance. More food across the busy street. Staff was very friendly.
My room was not ready at check in time so we waited 40 minutes and then were given a room that wasn't what we booked. We were told even tho it wasn't the room we booked it will still have a fridge but no microwave. Well it had neither, so we paid extra for nothing. Then the toilet paper was a used roll with a quarter left on it, unfortunately we noticed this once we got back from a show at about midnight. Unfortunately ran out the next day. Also didn't have towels, we noticed that right away and had to go to the office again which they did give us towels.
A family member's room was noisy, while ours was quiet. The AC at the property was iffy. We overheard a supervisor addressing complaints about it. We found our room AC to be just OK.
It was dodgy and felt unsafe. The room was beat up and cell-like. The lobby had a bad smell. To say it was no-frills is an understatement. More like one star level. We stayed one night and left.
I froze all night long, the heat didn't work. When I checked out I told them st the front desk and they said the heat isn't turn on yet! It was 43âą that night! So I paid $110 to freeze in a room that doesn't have the heat turned on!
I like how clean they keep the place. Or at least maintained enough you can clean more yourself without trouble. If you have OCD like mine. Itâs the best youâll find for a cheap price. Management is nice.
