everything was lovely very friendly staff . only one thing which I forgot to mention was that I slipped whist getting in the shower and hurt my knee. just a sign saying beware of the shower mat when you first get in would do .

Beautiful location, close to all amenities, could do with better quality mattresses and tablets/furniture slightly aging and could do with an update and parking should be free for those staying at hotel. Otherwise good all round

Weather was abit chilly but warm and tidy room. Shame the bed was not that comfortable as in need of new mattress. Kept finding woodlice in the bathroom on the floor.

Male receptionist state of dress. Being an extremely large man he didn’t need to have his shirt open and out of his trousers showing large expanse of his stomach.. Safely issues with lounge carpet not fixed.

The hotel is on the promenade of Exmouth. Slightly tired and dated looking property, the lock on our door did not work but room a nice size and bed was comfortable, we had a view out to the sea which was nice. We did not eat in the hotel, we did use the bar which was small but fine. I would stay here again.

Room with a Sea View

We stayed for New Years Eve 2024 and New Years Day 2025. We had a superior double and z bed. Our room was ok, no complaints, although we did have to use storage heaters rather than there being use of the radiators. The shower was a little weak but again ok for a couple of nights. The dining room is stunning, a gift from a bygone era. The rest of the hotel is in truth tired but unoffencive. The staff were friendly and we received an unexpected Christmas gift on leaving. It was an ok stay.
