Beautiful gardens! Good location, near to town and beaches. Our room looked out onto the gorgeous gardens with it's relaxing pond with fish. Room was well equipped with tea, coffee, fresh milk in a fridge and a complimentary small bottle of red wine!
Breakfast was served in a light, airy dining room by friendly staff and there was a variety of choices of cooked food, including vegetarian options.
Would thoroughly recommend Poltair!
Friendly greeting on arrival.
I was staying in Puffin which had a separate toilet, the lock for the toilet door was a little stiff.
Surprised that I had access to the balcony and a sea view (shame about the rain). Room was fine, a little dated but clean. In the hallway and entrance there was a slight unpleasant smell.
I can not comment on the breakfast, as due to the seating timings I wasnât able to experience the dining room. The team however did on request make me something to take away.
The property has the most beautiful front garden with a koi pond, really lovely and relaxing. The building itself is also stunning. My only issue was that there was a slightly unpleasant smell coming from the en suite bathroom. Other than that, I had a great stay.
Good location for the beach and a strole down to the harbour and town. Good food and service - cannot fault them during the Covid-19 situation. We would recommend them and stay again.
When arriving at the hotel, I had a warm welcome from the owner who explained everything I needed to know during my stay. As itâs still only open for key workers I was provided with a continental breakfast left in my room.
There was plenty of hand sanitizer located around the building.
The room I had was very spacious and had a small balcony overlooking the coast.
The room was more than adequate for my needs.
The location is probably a 15-20 minute walk into Falmouth town and a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach.
I would definitely stay here again because of the friendly welcome I received.
Great place to stay in Falmouth. Good location and you get a great service for the price. The room I had was large, clean, and welcoming. The breakfast options are more expansive than is commonly on offer.
Spent 1 night in November as I had business to take care of in the town. The place was so lovely and characteristic - I also got an upgrade to a bigger room as they didn't have the house full due to it not being the season. The acoustic insulation between rooms isn't perfect as I could hear the neighbouring room's guest throwing up in their bathroom on the other side of my room. Otherwise the stay was lovely, a nice room with a sea view and a full English breakfast included in the price! Would recommend.
The room was very tired with damp, peeling wall paper above the bed, very dirty window frames and a tiny shower cabinet. The hot water tap was scalding and potentially quite dangerous. And on my first morning I had water pouring through the ceiling from the room above. On the plus side the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and its close to the sea. However as I was at the back I had the boiler going on and off most of the night.
