We attended our son's graduation and needed a place to stay near the NAU campus. The sister suite is located in an quant old house in downtown Flagstaff. It was the perfect location. Close to campus and to restaurants. We had a reserved parking spot behind the house and there was plenty of street parking. It was a quiet neighborhood and the suite was neat and clean. There was a kitchen stocked with everything you would need.
The Sister Suite is located in a beautiful early 1900s home and is pictured and described accurately on the website. Parking is on-site and it is a great place to leave your car while you walk the few blocks to downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty to walk through. As for the apartment, it was very comfortable and updated without losing any charm. Radiator heat provides warm heat, and if you want a little breeze, you can prop open the windows. The bed was comfortable and the provided towels were nice. The host provides shampoo and body wash in the walk-in shower. We had to reach the host once with a question, and he responded within minutes. Seriously, there was nothing not to like. We would definitely return. We used the apartment as our base to visit the national monuments and Lowell Observatory and it was perfect.
I was visiting my son in college, and we had a great time together sharing this apartment for Veteranâs Day weekend. I loved not having keys and using door codes. It made check-in super easy the evening of our arrival. The apartment was cute, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. It was quiet and the thermostat was just right (keeping us warm). Great location too. Highly recommended!
The location of this place is worth every penny! I parked my car and walked around the entire weekend. Neighborhood is dark and quiet. The apartment was so cozy and I would stay again. The sound from the other apartments wasnât too loud either.
Never saw that it was upstairs in a very old building. At 80 years old, we had a tough time with luggage and maneuvering up and down steep stairs. I never got a code to get in. Had to make several calls just to gain access upon arrival.
We stayed in Flagstaff for 5 nights and it was a wonderful stay!! Check-in was easy and the location was amazingâŠabout 3 blocks from historic downtown! It was also centrally located to Grand Canyon, Page and Winslow! We saw so many sites around Flagstaff!! Communication with property manager was fantastic too! We noticed only one towel in the bathroom at check-in but was able to text them about it. A crew member was there in 5 minutes with towels! The house was perfect and our âapartmentâ was the perfect size for 2! Kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable! Highly recommend!!
Great location, nice apartment inside historic home
My partner and I loved staying at this property. The mini-apartment is located within a historic home just a few minutes walk from downtown. Easy parking and access by car and great central starting point for any activity in Flag. The apartment was as listed, I would stay here again!
Small but very functional. The place was very well stocked (napkins, soap, dishes, etc.)
We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again
Improvement: the closet light often fails, no place to put soap in the shower.
The place was comfortable and appropriate for what I needed during my stay in Flagstaff. The neighborhood was quiet and conducive for sleep. The bed was a little lopsided, which I left the owner some positive feedback about it. For one person it didnât bother me but for two it might be an issue. I only say this because a good nights sleep is very important to me. The small apartment was definitely better than a hotel as I had a kitchen that had everything I needed to cook small meals. Small Refrigerator did not have a freezer, but that was not an issue for me. I would not recommend the upstairs with children for the courtesy of downstairs guests. I did not find noise to be an issue from other guests. The house is very old so it does creek. The location was very close to downtown, within walking distance, but at night itâs very dark due to the Flagstaff ordinance of low lighting. Overall, it was a positive experience.
I left feedback for the owner that it would be nice to list some of the items in the room that may not be shown in online photos. I would recommend communicating with the owner if there is something specific that you need as that is always best.
Well I somehow thought that I had booked an extra night for this rental, and I made a royal mess out of his rental schedule. He was really nice about it and worked out a solution for me. He couldnât have been more gracious over my screw up. The apartment itself is super cute, very clean, and cozy as can be. Definitely a wonderful place to stay and an even better host.
Our stay was wonderful! This adorable condo (apartment/home?) was so cute and definitely exceeded our expectations! The bed was comfortable, shower was great, and same with the kitchen. I would definitely recommend staying here with friends, couples, or just by yourself. I would 100% stay here again and itâs so close to downtown!
This was a perfect place to stay while visiting with our daughter. It was 5 minutes away from her apartment and very close to downtown and numerous restaurants.
