This is a very charming and cosy hotel with lovely, professional and very friendly staff. I highly recommend it!

Staff friendly , breakfast made to order but also therefore slow . Awoken at 5am by v noisy deivery lorry. Bathroom tired , cracked bath , shaver point defunct etc. But good price for one night stopover.

very comfortable hotel, good food,

Pros: Good location close to our destination, very easy to find. We enjoyed the live music too!!
Cons: sound proofing on the bedroom walls
Location: Chequer Mead theatre - couple of miles down the road.
We had a comfortable overnight stay - food was excellent and the staff arefriendly and attentive. The only downside was the thiness of the adjoining room wall as the couple next to us decided to wake at six am and weren't particularly quiet.
