We didn’t like the house, and the odor was unpleasant. Low, dark ceilings in 1970’s styled rooms with primarily brown furniture. I usually enjoy indirect lighting as it gives a coziness to a space but the musty yellow bulbs seemed to worsen this space. This property is billed as a home-base for Olympic National Park adventures, but there is no washer and dryer. For my family, access to a washer and dryer is a primary reason for using VRBO. It was disclosed in a discrete way in the listing, but it came to a surprise to us when we arrived after 3 days in the park with muddy clothes in desperate need of a washer and dryer. We stay often in VRBOs, and we have never been to a property with no washer and dryer. For my family, this house was a dreary mistake, though some may not mind it. For the money, much much better can be had in Forks in my opinion. This would be a better review if the property was listed at a much lower nightly rate.
