The rooms are very basic. Concrete walls, no closets or storage, however they are clean! Can't beat the location and amenities. Beach front, Chairs and umbrellas, food/drink service on the beach, great breakfast, and pools.

First time staying at Plunge Resort. The hotel was comfortable and the Beach Access was amazing. Interior hallways and rooms can use some upgrades but the set up on the beach was amazing. Tavis the beach attendant was so accomodating. Top notch service with a smile and positivity everyday. The hotel was quiet but only a 10 min walk to Lauderdale by the Sea pier and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

Suzette, and Dion were great in answering questions and hosting, however, 25.00 a nite for parking on top of a resort fee, parking for guest should be free, we were terribly disappointed, the convenience of everything was nice, but spending the extra money was a shock , we will not be back

Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious room with a comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Easy access to beach and pool and walkable center of town where the "action" is - bars, restaurants, shops. Shopping center right across the street is very convenient. Here's the downside: The place can use an overhaul. The industrial decor is dated and the hallway carpeting is old. Rooms are also carpeted, which is not a great idea in a beach resort as carpets can get pretty funky in short order. In addition, while there'a a small fridge and a safe, there's no microwave or coffee maker. We got hit with a $250 "resort fee" upon check in. Seriously? Haven't we had about enough of fees in every one of life's endeavors? On top of this, they nail you with a $25 per night parking fee. This is on top of the handsome rates that you're already paying for your stay. Seems a bit excessive. While this is certainly not a bad place to spend you time and money, if you're looking for a better deal and different amenities, look elsewhere. There are many choices in the area.

Quiet, peaceful, laid back atmosphere, the beach always helps with that. Staff and property grounds are well maintained. Beach restaurant had great food and the view is amazing. The coffee shop could use an extra set of hands first thing in the morning, but the coffee and breakfast sandwiches were exceptional.

Fun artsy vibe in their lobby area with comfy couches and chairs, a nice spot to relax while we waited for our room to be ready after getting off our cruise. They stored our luggage and gave us access to the lovely pool area and beach where chairs, towels and umbrellas are available to guests as part of the resort fee. Friendly staff got us set up on the beach. Fun beachside bar between the pool and beach. Great spot, we would book here again!

Relaxing Weekend

I recently spent the weekend at the bungalow in Plunge and had a relaxing time overall. The room was functional, and the best part was the easy access to the beach, making it perfect for a beachside getaway. We particularly enjoyed the bar, Backflip, where the service was friendly and the atmosphere lively—definitely our favorite spot. Dining options were limited, with only the coffee shop Bean and barnacle, and a breakfast spot, Octopus, but the food at both was tasty. However, I did feel a bit disappointed with a couple of things. We were charged a parking fee, which felt unnecessary, and the tables in Backflip could have been wiped down better after guests had finished their meals. All in all, the experience was great, and I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. Despite these small issues, we had a lovely time at Plunge and would definitely consider returning!

I really like The Plunge resort. It’s a great place right on the beach. Very convenient. Service is excellent. One suggestion: If renovating, I would like them to add a handheld shower option in the shower.

Location perfect! Beach and an abundance of walkable dining options. For a week stay in excess of $3000 a coffee pot should be offered in room. Service in restaurant was subpar as well as the coffee shop. Takes way to long to get breakfast and coffee in coffee shop was the worst we’ve ever had. Manager was attentive and checked on us thru texts several times. Hotel is getting ready to upgrade inside which now is very dated.
