Staff was very nice. Asked for items not in the room 3 times each day and never delivered until went to front desk the third time after a long day. Construction on the road in front of the hotel makes it difficult to access. The fountain and area around is beautiful.

Great stay! Great hotel

Only had one issue. The elevator was slow due to one that wasn't working, but they were literally fixing it while we was there so it doesn't take away from the perfect stay.

We had several service related challenges (checked into a dirty room, our credit card was authorized several times in excess of the total amount and remained there for 10 days, among others) and when the Guest Experience Manager called to discuss, he repeatedly apologized but would not offer any type of resolution. By far the most disappointing experience at a hotel in all my travels. I will be contacting Marriott to report the below standard issues we faced.

Not as clean as could be. Bed was too soft. TV was a strange system. Food service limited to only times open or closed. Nothing in area to walk to. Quite far from airport and cruise terminal. Far from heart of Fort Lauderdale and beach. Really need a car.

Three issue about room itself

Most was of the stay great Hotel itself great, clean and welcoming , customer service is great Few issue I had First and most important mattress for sofa bed was unacceptable bad(could feel very peace of metal inside) I asked front desk for mattress cover(as example memory foam mattress cover or other soft mattress) hotel was not able to provide so I was force to go to store and buy myself, they give my five blankets was not really help Second issue on fourth day of my stay body wash finished and I was force to use soap bar to take a shower Third issue a/c in the room was not working properly, room was too cold so I periodically shut it off and turned back manually

Construction in front of hotel.

Getting in and out of the hotel was tricky, to say the least, due to construction. Noise from the train was surprisingly loud and we had to change rooms after one night of our four night stay. Breakfast was good.

Everything was great until one day, when you did clean our room, no towels were left in the room, even after 4 hours. I went to the front desk to ask that towels were delivered and after 2 hours, nothing. I had to go back to the front desk and the employee (who was rude) finally gave me the towels in my hands. This is not up to the standard of a Sheraton Hotel to be treated like this. It was the second year in a row to your Hotel and we are thinking of maybe trying another Hotel.

It is located in an office park area so the amentities nearby cater mostly to the office groups. But there are decent restaurants. The hotel itself is going through a renovation. The biggest negative is that this is a Sheraton Suites that does NOT do a free breakfast buffet. Wish I had known prior to booking.

6/10 probably would avoid this area if traveling here again. Staff not very friendly other than the front desk. Rooms were clean but not great. Damaged furniture and poorly slapped together updates. Food at the restaurant was hit and miss. Overpriced for entrees with instant mashed potatoes and rice.
