This owner complained that we left the property "messy" when we even laundered all our own towels before leaving and wiped down counters and left dishes done. They also remarked that we "broke into their locked cabinets". We did absolutely NO such thing. There *were* some cabinets marked "locked" and they did not appear locked to me, but we were not the ones who messed them up or pried them open.
These owners are becoming ridiculously picky and demanding expecting people to pay huge cleaning and service fees yet still leave places so spotless there is basically nothing left to be done. I am sorry but not going to scrub floors and launder bed linens on MY expensive vacation. Apparently even us washing and folding all the towels before we left on our own time and leaving dishes all done was not good enough for this owner, and we were then blamed for cabinets that someone else had broken before we arrived in a *very* rude email I got.
In addition, know that the furniture is flimsy and cheap, absolutely worst and few pillows in this unit, the bathtub does not work in the secondary bathroom (only the shower,) and the toilets barely flush! The shower curtain in the secondary bathroom is so cheap and flimsy it fell down on my son! We weren't going to make a big deal...I even fixed the chain which broke on the master toilet myself, rather than bug the owner, but given their lack of grace shown to us and a sour ending, please be warned this isn't a nice owner to rent from.
