Wonderful off season visit to Bear Lake with family. The house was perfect with everyone having their own bedroom and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and the table was awesome for family dinners. The hot tub was a great way to end the day.
We had 21 people for a reunion and the house was perfect! Everything was very clean when we arrived and there were 3 big rooms for kids to spread out and adults to be able to visit. We were close to a grocery store and not far from the north shore of Bear Lake. The hot tub was a hit with everyone and the community pool was just a short walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay at this location. It had easy access to everything, they were communicative, had all the basics covered, and it was seamless getting in and out to the house and the neighborhood- which they kept well plowed. Our only issues were that there was broken-up candy pieces in one of the rooms in the window seal and hair and/or fur in the sheets of one of the beds. Also, we didn't realize it until we were at the property, but the pool table and foosball table shown in the pictures aren't in the home, they are in the neighborhood clubhouse, which we couldn't access during the winter. We would definitely recommend staying at this location.
Privacy for us in the hot tub could be better but overall the hot tub was great. We had a bad night from a fire alarm due to dust, not the owner or managers fault.
Iâve been sick with cancer and so was so nice to hear my kids giggling and chuckling and playing games and doing all the fun things that we do together even though I didnât participate very often I did get to hear them
The home was very suitable for our large family. The home was clean with all the necessary kitchen supplies. The children's toy area under the stairs was wonderful and heavily utilized. The hot tub was great. The nicely trimmed grassy area was perfect for kid games and water fights. The clubhouse pool was easy to access and fun for all. The location was close to the grocery store and gas station. All-in-all, a very enjoyable weekend. A couple of negatives: within an hour of arriving, the ping-pong table had collapsed on my granddaughter. It appeared the previous occupants had knocked one leg loose along with the support brackets and lost all the screws - I have photos. Then they just set it back up. The first touch of the table knocked it down. Also, the grass was cut just prior to our arriving and the clippings werenât caught â then with watering and dew the grass was always wet. We spent the next two days cleaning up the floor from tracked in grass clippings. Seems like a small thing to complain about but we spent a lot of time sweeping for such a simple thing to remedy.
Open and airy. Plenty of room for the 9 of us (didnât use one room, or all the bunk beds in others). Kitchen had most amenities (even an instant pot), could have used a liquid measuring cup. The kitchen is pretty narrow in the cooking area so it is a one-butt-kitchen, and required walking around the island if someone else was trying to help. Included all the trash bags/dishwasher soap/laundry soap you could need.
Grocery store (Mikeâs) and fuel were about a block away so super convenient. And the store had most everything we needed.
I believe this home is owned by VRBO as there was nothing personal about the house. It was like a large hotel with white sheets/towels and signs posted all over telling you what to do and what not to do.
There was a very friendly neighbor cat (grey) that visited us everyday and made the grandkids very happy. It must visit all renters because we had the deck door open (no screen doors on the house) for some morning air and it walked right in. So, please be nice to her and give her a taste of whatever you are eating.
The house garage door and the front doors lock after being opened and closed for a few minutes, so having to constantly enter the code to get in is a tad frustrating when you are going in and out, but I understand the need.
The roku kept overheating as it is against the TV. We ended up putting a fan blowing up behind the TV, which seemed to work.
I felt the cleaning fees were excessive (sanitize the spa = throw a BUNCH of chlorine in it). Our 8-day stay from July 1-8 was way too much with unexpected fees st booking.
