Great stay! Beautiful inside the yurt and very cozy. They had the a.c. running before we arrived which was great as the temp that day was 90 degrees. The yurt stayed nice and cool. We only stayed 1 night but would have loved to stay longer. The walk up to the yurt from parking area #1 is steep but not too long. My kids and I were able to walk it in sandals and crocs. Communication with hosts was great and they even went beyond when helping to coordinate meeting up after my stay to provide me with a forgotten item.

One serene night

Fantastic directions to the yurt. Clean, roomy, and cute. Enough room to set up play pen for my 2 year old to sleep in wothout feeling crowded. Located exactly as described, did not see another soul while we were there.

This was a last minute decision to go here since my family was planning on camping in a tent. It was too hot for camp tenting. This place was great! The A/C was a huge bonus for the summer temps and made our stay very enjoyable. Plus with all the amenities included made it even better. Not having running water was fine for us since we normally do 'bird baths' at tent camping sites. Bathroom is a little distance away from the Yurt, but doable for our family standards. The star and satellite gazing at night is great also. We would definitely stay here again. One night went by quick.

Beautiful slice of heaven

The yurt was amazing, the amenities they had were exactly what you'd hope for the room was warm and cozy. I did hurt myself walking firewood back to the pit because I have bad knees and hips and wasn't aware the yurt was positioned between two steep hills lol. I think going forward the only thing the owners could improve on is including in the description the very steep hills around it because some people would opt for something else. Beautiful views and overall such a nice place to get away from everything, thank you for opening your doors to us

We had a great time, exactly like the pictures. I look forward to staying here again.

I wish I booked 2 or 3 nights. We went to the Starlight Theater and walked to our yurt with headlamps. The kids thought this was a wonderful adventure.

The yurt and its surroundings was absolutely beautiful! It came equipped with lots of extras – definitely a fun “glamping” experience! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

A Perfect Little Getaway

I have never stayed in a yurt before and was really shocked at how amazing this place was. The Yurt had many amenities such as AC, Kurig, Stove and a refrigerator. The beds were super comfy and the entire yurt was lovely and clean. The walk from the parking space to the yurt was minimal and the porta potty was very clean, possibly the cleanest that i have ever seen. The area had so many beautiful hikes near by. I hope to visit again!!

We needed a place to stay so I could attend the Starlight theater. Perfect location. Loved the seclusion. Porta-potty wasn't too far. You have to clean up after yourself and supplies were running low. Paper towels and mop pads. I didn't get responses from emails to the owner.

This place was better than advertised a little slice of heaven sitting on the deck eating breakfast watching the hummingbirds eat the and elk on the hillside! We will be back for sure!

Responsive and gracious

Through no fault of the owners, our reservation was double booked. When we spoke with them about the situation, they were responsive and gracious. They did everything they could to make things right for us. Despite our stay not going as planned, I would certainly book this yurt again, or any other rentals from these owners. We appreciate their hospitality!

Yurt in the mountains

Due to heavy snowing and avalanches in the area, we were unable to reach the yurt, but I still give a good rating because the owners refunded all the money and were understanding of the situation. Hope to try again under better conditions. The road in is steep and narrow!
