This property is exactly as described but the river behind makes this property extra special. 10 adults, plenty of space and proximity to downtown was perfect. Communication with Host, immediately responsive. Will be back!

Convenient Gatlinburg Stay
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Convenient location to downtown Gatlinburg and other activities. One of the reasons we booked was trout fishing. Only drawback was there was not direct access to the river from the property except from the stone wall which worked fine for my teen and myself to scale. Property was well represented in photos, was clean and well maintained, provided excellent instructions for check in and our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and activities in the area and would definitely rebook!

Girl’s Trip 2025
This property is perfectly located to downtown Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the two decks that overlook a beautiful creek. The interior was spacious and accommodated my 7 friends and myself with ease. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might want to use for cooking and each drawer was labeled for identification of what was in them. The 5 bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for a group. We definitely will use this place again on a return trip!

Easy walk to downtown Gatlinburg. Beautiful creekside views! Bedrooms each with their own bathrooms was very nice! Large kitchen with tons of counter space. We really enjoyed our stay! Would recommend!

Great Space and Great Location!
My family and I loved this place. There were 10 of us and two little ones and the downstairs area had plenty enough space for all of us to sit and enjoy each other’s company comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked and having every bedroom with its own bath was definitely a plus. We loved being right on the river and one of us even did a polar plunge, brrr!!! I can’t say enough about how clean the place was and the location was great. We walked everywhere. We’d definitely stay here again

Lazy river
The home is lovely and close to downtown Gatlinburg. Being able to walk to town was nice since parking is limited and costs $20 everywhere in town. We were there when Hurricane Helena hit the east coast so we had a lot of rain and time in the house! And the porch overlooking the river was where we spent the most time.

The house fit our group great. Plenty of room to move around without stepping on each other. Very convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Owner was great to work with. We plan to return to this spot again next year for our get together.

Very Nice!
My team met for a working retreat at this home. Very nice accommodations, clean, well equipped, easy to get in and out. It was nice having bathrooms for each bedroom. Beautiful river view, and yes, there are bears!

The property was great. The location was fantastic..... backing up to the river that runs through Gatlinburg and being only a few minute walk to hillbilly golf. The interior was very well decorated, with comfortable furniture, lots of space, and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you might need. I Forget would definitely stay here again.

River Stay
House was as advertised. River location fantastic and every morning spent drinking coffee before daylight in perfect solitude. Plenty of kitchenware for any need. Beds comfortable. Entire family loved it. TVs seldom turned on. Our intent is to rent again in near future. One thing for owner to consider is a light gate on the deck. Since we had two young kids with us, we put up a portable gate at top of stairs for additional safety. This wasn’t a negative….just something that may enhance someone else’s stay with small children.

My wife and I, along with our three married children and their spouses, and our two grandsons (ages 6 & 3) have been taking an annual trip for the last several years. This was the first in which the accommodations were ideal! We try to balance eating out and cooking. The kitchen and dining areas served us extremely well! The river view/access was simply awesome! That each bedroom has its own bathroom was a huge plus! Wish we could take this property with all its awesomeness on all our family vacations!

Gatlinburg getaway
We were very pleased with the location, customer service and accommodations at Rivercation. For our large group, everyone had a bedroom with their own bathroom. We were all impressed with the house and all it had to offer. Situated on the river was wonderful- relaxing to sit and listen to the water and a convenient spot to fish. It is about a 30 minute walk to the Gatlinburg Convention center (about 1 1/2 miles). Blake was responsive and helpful with messages. We would definitely stay here again.
