The apartment was exactly as described and pictured. Very clean, in a modern block just minutes walk from the historic centre. Parking is a bonus, but if like us you are just here to explore the city, you won't need it. Public transport is cheap and convenient and there is a tram stop a couple of minutes walk away. Theres a couple of convenience stores pretty much on site, which will supply all the basic necessities. Theres also a couple of decent looking cafes/restaurants also on site if you want someone else to make your breakfast.
The apartment has all the kitchen equipment and washing etc stuff you need if you want to self cater. But why would you? The city centre has a wide range of restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. The only issue we had was with the wifi seeming to be flaky - some of our devices worked fine but others kept dropping off the connection for no obvious reason. However, I can't really say that it was definitely a fault with the apartments IT kit.
The rental process was flawless and we had all the information we needed from the rental company for check in and out. We had no reason to contact them but the impression from their email communications was that of a responsive company if things go wrong.
Gdansk proved to be a really interesting place for a short vacations and this apartment is a great base to explore it, and wider afield. Very much recommended.
