Nice location
We had a very nice double room for one night. The hostel is quiet and in a good neighborhood, between the transportation and the tourist sites. Monika was most helpful.

Just ok.
Location is great, very near the train station and walking distance to places of interest in Gdansk. Service was great, no problem with check in/out. Free bfast was simple but good enough. 2 bathrooms for everyone to share were not enough and it gets untidy as well. Bed was not comfortable, suggest to change already. Both my husband and I had bed bug bites.

My stay with Midtown Hostel was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the hostel was super clean, and the beds were nice and comfortable. Parking (and entrance) in the courtyard in the back was super easy, and the location was very good too. Less than a 5 minute walk from many of the major sites, including Gdańsk Old Town, the Gdańsk Forum, and several of the monuments and museums. Highly recommend.

It would help if this hostel had staff at night. A group of 14 on stag trip arrived really intoxicated and felt quite threatened in what should be a safe space. I was really shocked staff left guests when they knew how loud and intoxicated the new guests where. Staff very nice but not a safe space. it is very hard to enforce guidelines such as no smoking if staff are not present. I feel there should have been some refund for the situation.

Midtown hostel is very well located between old town and main town gdansk. It is very clean and well maintained, bright and well lit. Staff are friendly and very helpful in giving tips for exploring the city. The access is a bit confusing since you need to enter from the back road - a different location from the hostel main address road. Which meant lugging our heavy suitcases around the block an extra time. Also note that it is on an upper floor without an elevator. So keep in mind if you are not travelling light. The hostel is a couple of converted apartments with 2 shared bathrooms for upto 18guests. Things can become crowded with waiting time to use the loo. Having said that, the place is kept pretty clean.

Simple but very central stay
This hostel is very well situated: 5 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins from the touristic center (where all touristic atractions are). Also very close to the markets (ex. 1 minute from the Market Hall). The hostel offer is ok (not bad, not wow). 2 Shared bathrooms, 1 shared kitchen, but all very clean. The bedrooms are confortableand minimal/small, except the doors, which are sliding doors. But for a weekend is all you need. Reception very friendly and helpful! Thank you :)

Convenient and clean hostel!
Nice and friendly staff! I had a really great time staying here. The location is also extremely convenient between old town and main town. The condition of the room is also excellent! Everywhere is clean and convenient. There's locker available for free with a refundable deposit. I had a really wonderful time here and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

The hostel looks exactly as the published photos. Very clean and comfortable. Staff responded very quickly before my stay for queries and during my stay for additional information. Location is just fine. But need to climb stairs for one floor but it was ok.

A great find in a great city
Midtown Hostel is fantastic. The hostel is super clean and looks brand new. The bathroom was large and shower was excellent, although the hose slips a bit off the wall. My room was big and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I was staying in the single room, which is on the street side, so a bit of noise at night. Lots of common areas and bikes to hire. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hostel was also very easy to find from the train/bus station.

Really nice hostel set in a modern apartment. Very clean and good facilities. Staff were great, really tried to help wherever they could. Decent enough location with only a short walk into the old town.

Excellent location
I've stayed in a lot of hostels and this was one of the better ones. Very well-maintained, super clean (you could probably eat off the floor), sinks everywhere, and dead smack in the center. The best part was the staff! The girls were very friendly, sweet, patient, and knowledgeable. Always smiling and ready to help. I can't recommend this hostel enough :)
