Wine country exploring
Had a late invitation to meet friends in Geneva for a mid week trip. Check in was easy. The building is an older building that has been updated. The common areas were clean. The room was comfortable for 2 people. The room and bathroom was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We asked for extra towels and no problem. Breakfast was fine but a very good bagel store is across the street we chose to use. The owners are on site and were very nice. The Days Inn in Geneva was just what we needed and will use again on our return.

We were in town for Family Weekend at HWS. The hotel is conveniently located, and the price was reasonable. It was a decent place to sleep, but the overall vibe of the place is dated. Nothing fancy, pretty slim pickings for breakfast choices, not dirty but I'm not sure it would pass the "white-glove" test. If you're just passing through, it will do for a night, but wouldn't be my first choice for a vacation stay.

The property looks deserted. There were large boxes piled outside the entrance for the first two days we were there: The building looks like it hasn’t been upgraded in years. We will not go back.

I did not feel safe at all! The rear door did not lock! Smokers were using it as an easy out and in and the cigarette butts were all over the ground and it appeared that noone was cleaning them up. Not enough handicap rooms or amenities! The staff was not available at the front desk very much, or in the breakfast area during breakfast. It appeared to me they were not staffed very well. I did meet a very nice lady cleaning the rooms. She was very friendly. This was my second time staying at this property, but not by choice this time, it just worked out that way. I thought that with the Wyndam name attached, it would be better, but that was not the case! I was shocked to hear that you could rent rooms by the hour!! That makes your mind think unpleasantries for someone that is there for 5 days! The front desk has a sign that says, no refunds after 15 minutes!! Overall...if I had to stay in Geneva again and that was the only hotel available, I would stay.

Check-in was super easy! The staff was kind and courteous. Breakfast was about what you’d expect for the price of the stay. If you’re just looking for a place to lay your head that’s clean and convenient to Geneva, it’s a great place.

Check in was very slow. Printer was out of paper for person ahead of me waiting for a receipt, but two people behind counter failed to even say hello to me let alone check me in. Breakfast was a joke! Both coffee urns were empty at 8 am. Cups provided were small water cups as the coffee cups were gone. Staff advised me to go get a paper cup from my room! Muffins were the teeny tiny ones from Costco. Entire experience was a disappointment. Won’t ever stay here again.

We spent 3 nights recently at Geneva Days Inn and enjoyed our time there. The breakfasts were nice and choices enough for us.-waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, bread, mini muffins, cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt and juices. The staff was very accommodating. It’s not new but clean.
