The VRBO picture shows the front of the house, but unit #5 can only be entered from the back. It is a basement suite, the design of which would be perfect for someone attending the nearby university, but not for two couples. (The person sleeping in the queen-sized bed in the small bedroom must open their door and step into the living area, which now contains a king-sized bed in order to transit to the bathroom.) The bedroom contains no furniture except for the bed and one very small night table which has no lamp. The closet contains painting and renovation supplies. It ought to be possible to put some drawer storage space inside the closet. The apartment has a beautiful back patio which we utilized to sip wine in perfect weather. There are only two problems. The lot is immediately adjacent to a major highway and there is significant traffic noise from truck climbing the hill at the expected times of the day, beginning at 06:45. The perfect cement patio has no railings and a 6" -9" drop onto sloping grass. It needs a safety railing and is currently completely unsuitable for small children. The location is well situated to walk downtown for a good choice of restaurants. This unit would be OK and a good value for a family of four that did not have toddlers.
