The staffs were friendly, and professional. We ran into problems with the room on the first night of our stay. The staff changed the room right away. The staffs were also attentive to details when we told them our luggage would be arriving sooner before our arrival at the hotel.

The building (hotel) is quite old and run down unlike 7 years ago where we stayed.However, the excellent services provided by Kasturi and particularly Joey was outstanding! Joey shows much patience and kindness and takes time and effort to explain to us repeatedly when approached. Joey is definitely a valuable asset to Le Dream and highly commendable. 👍👍

Great location. Walkable to Pragnin Mall and very near food street. Only downside to not getting 5 stars review is that the shower water flow weak and wash basin flows very slow. Called housekeeping was told it’s normal

I can't really fault it. This is a 3.5 - star hotel I believe. Definitely towards the higher end. From the moment I entered, I was warmly greeted. Staff are all super friendly, nice and helpful. They would always greet you and talk to you. It was like a family home. Housekeeping was done very well each day and complimentary water provided. Small but lovely boutique hotel. Room was nice. Not huge but spacious. There was a fridge, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries and more. Comfortable. Hotel was very clean. I didn't eat at the hotel nor include breakfast so can't comment on food. I had laundry done twice which was cheap and done perfectly. You can't beat location. I practically walked everywhere. There are shopping malls, restaurants and the UNESCO World Heritage area on your doorstep. Very convenient. Hotel is secure which is important as a solo female traveller. You can only access your room floor with your room key card. When you arrive, you need to leave a deposit of 100 MYR but this will be given back to you when you leave provided you do not break anything, have any additional expenses or lose your room key card. A small negative was that each time you returned to the hotel, you needed to log into the WIFI. Normally this should connect automatically. Other than that, highly recommend and would stay here again.

Fabulous!
Fantastic facilities, very clean room, a very eco-friendly hotel as towels aren't washed every day unnecessarily unless asked for. The staff were very helpful when I left my backpack on the CAT bus on our first day, I managed to retrieve it the next day. The location is perfect as it's a 5-10 minute walk away from so many places to eat as well as 2 shopping malls. The only point for improvement would be the WiFi as it regularly froze or was so slow that I had to use my data instead.

The hotel is strategically located next to Kimberly Street Hight Food Market and Jalan Penang where many shops and eateries are located. It is also within walking distance to Penang Street Art and the Clan Jetties, Khoo Kong Si and many other tourist attractions. The facilities are good with hot water and mini-fridge, safe and toiletries provided. Hotel staff is helpful and efficient. Overall I enjoyed my stay in Le Dream Hotel and strongly recommend it to travellers.

We stayed at 6 different places during our 15 days Malaysia trip, and this was the only place where some of the staff looked like being bored or annoyed. I would not notice or mind in another country, but here it was a huge contrast after meeting super friendly, helpful and smiling people everywhere else. Otherwise the hotel and service is great, we had a good time.
