On the ground floor of a large chalet style Vosges family house located on a plot of 3000m2, large and bright 70m2 apartment on parquet floors, on the ground floor facing south with large balcony. Extremely quiet, very comfortably furnished. Central heating.
Living room of 32m2. Two bedrooms -16 18m2. Separate kitchen with 4 hot plates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Washing machine and dryer in the basement. Outdoor dryer.

I would not recommend
This property is very dirty and needs a good clean. Many spiders and the second bedroom smelt of mould and was very dusty. We tried to use the vacuum cleaner but the smell that came out of it forced us all to run outside before we were sick. I am sure there is rotting food or something dead in it! Prices in HomeAway App and Website did not match! The HomeAway App which I used to make the booking, did not mention additional charges made by the property manager. After paying and making the booking I received a message from the property manager stating additional fees were due (HomeAway has prevented me from including any rates in this review, due to content guidelines), which were only listed on the website. The property manager stated additional charges were for “hot and cold water, electricity and taxes”. I queried this additional charge with HomeAway and was told the tax the property manager was referring to was ‘tourist tax’. Personally, I think hot and cold water are should be included in the rental price, not something to be added in addition. Not necessarily the property manager’s fault, but be careful as HomeAway should fix this issue between their App and Website. Additionally, HomeAway have changed me a ‘Stay Tax’, in addition to the property manager already charging tourist taxes. Clearly a double tax on me, even though after contacting HomeAway, they blamed the property manager for not putting the charges on the App and Website correctly. I also needed bedding and sheets. I asked for a price for these and the property manager stated a price for “renting sheets”. I thought for this price I would be getting full bedding, but the property manager was true to their word and we only got clean sheets. All other bedding, only blankets, were from the smelly bedroom cupboards. I could have gone to SuperU and bought my own sheets for the same price! The outside area is untidy, with many weeds. Outside furniture is a joke, dirty and rusty! Cellar has a washing machine and drying area, but it also has oil powered boiler, so unless you like the smell of oil on your clothes then I would give it a miss! Apartment itself is large, except the bathroom which can only fit one person at a time. Bath/Shower could benefit from a shower curtain to stop water spraying into window alcove. If you don’t want to sit outside, don’t mind dust and the smell, and just want a cheap large apartment then this could be the place for you.

Fantastischer Panoramablick
Wir haben leider einen viel zu kurzen Urlaub in der sehr gemütlichen und farbenfrohen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war sehr herzlich und ungezwungen. Die Ruhe und den sensationellen Blick auf das Tal, Gerardmer und die Tannenwälder haben wir sehr genossen. Es gibt zahllose Möglichkeiten zu wandern und sich an den kleinen und großen Seen zu erholen. Gerne wieder. Der tolle Ausblick und die Landschaft werden noch lange nachklingen.

Geräumige Wohnung auf einem unendlich großen Grundstück und mit herrlicher Aussicht
Wir haben als Familie eine unvergessliche, erholsame und abwechslungsreiche Zeit in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Der Vermieter und die Ansprechperson sind sehr gastfreundlich und haben sich um unser Anliegen gut gekümmert. Die Wohnung bietet sehr viel Platz für Familie und der Hof ist einfach unendlich groß, geeignet für das Spielen der Kinder und für die Erholung der Erwachsene. Faszinierend ist außerdem die Aussicht bis zur nächsten Bergspitze, man kann perfekt den Sonnen- auf und untergang beobachten. Einfach ein traumhafter Ausblick. Zugleich kann das Stadtleben von der Wohnung aus mitverfolgt werden, da sich die Wohnung einfach auf einer idealen Höhe befindet. Der See von Gérardmer ist in 5 Min. erreichbar. Auch der ruhigere Longemer See ist gut zu erreichen. Neben Badeaktivitäten und Bootsfahrten sind geeignete Attraktivitäten für Familie mit Kleinkindern in der Umgebung reichlich vorhanden: die Feenbrücke, der "saut der cuve" der Wasserfall von Tendon sowie verschiedene Bauernhöfe und ein Pferdehof. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Ce logement est juste parfait. Très spacieux, très agréable. La situation géographique parfaite aussi, avec une vue imprenable sur Gérardmer, proche du centre-ville et des pistes. Hebergement très bien situé, à 5 minutes du centre ville en voiture (20' à pied)
Merci pour ce séjour. Le logement est spacieux, avec une belle vue. Les chambres sont grandes et on peut loger à 4 voire 6 personnes si besoin. L'accueil est impeccable. Je recommande.

La location est spacieuse surtout la pièce à vivre. Le salon est très confortable. La localisation est idéale mais il faut absolument une voiture. La salle de bain est vraiment trop petite. Le propriétaire est très réactif en cas de problème. Très bon accueil.

La maison est très agréable, avec un jardin magnifiquement entretenu. Les propriétaires sont adorables. Tout est mis à disposition (produits d’entretiens, lessive...) seul petit bémol : la maison n’était pas dans un état de propreté tél que l’on est en droit de l’exiger quand on arrive.
