Lake House Retreat
My son and I loved this property. It was well kept with everything one would need to stay away from home. Kathleen was great with communication and very kind. We stayed during the winter with the sole purpose of ice fishing but can see the beauty of the property and the surrounding location as a year around destination.

Anniversary Return
This is the nicest Vrbo house you'll ever stay at. This was our second time staying at the lake house, this time for our 1 year anniversary. It was such a pleasure to return to the home we stayed at during the wedding. The host Kathy is so kind and welcoming, leavjng all sorts of treats for pur stay - including an anniverary gift! Beautiful lakeside home
The location of the home is quiet & beautiful. The host provides kayaks, sunfish, other boats & fishing equipment to enjoy the lake to the fullest. A bald eagle frequents a tree on the property daily. There are firepits & abundant seating. The home is well-equipped & the host goes above & beyond to provide for any special requests She is a very special host! We look forward to another stay!

Amazing property!
Wow! Where do I start?! Kathy is a fantastic host, and the property is amazing. Very clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable! We didn’t get to enjoy the lake much as it was rainy and very windy but the fireplaces were nice and warm! We had a great stay and can’t wait to return in the future. Thank you!

Warm Welcome and Wonderful Stay
Kathy, our host gave us a warm friendly welcome and suggestions for lots of things to do in the area. Kathy is very knowledgeable about what both the property and the town as to offer including sites and restaurants. We went skiing and the kids enjoyed themselves. The house was clean, warm, pretty, inviting and had plenty of room for our large family. We look forward to visiting again and will recommend to our friends!

We didn't want to leave . . .
If you're reading this, book it, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. Wow, where do I even begin. My partner and I were looking for a secluded and private rental to celebrate our 15 Year Anniversary, and settled on Eagles Landing, so glad we did. The lakehouse is so spacious, includes everything imaginable, from kitchen essentials to linens, to outdoor seating, firepits, canoes, and paddleboats and the list goes on. We are looking forward to returning during the summer months to enjoy more of what the outdoors has to offer. I must say, however, we did enjoy the ambience of the "woodstove" (propane) upstairs, definitely set the mood with the lake view along with the falling snow, it was heaven. Despite the beautiful lakehouse along with all of the amenities, what topped our experience, were the hosts Kathy and John! Yes, the hosts made our experience that much better, which is hard to do, as Eagles Landing on its own is a spectacular experience. The hosts kept us informed every step of the way, offered restaurant recommendations, and even made themselves readily available anytime of day in the event we had any questions. However, without giving away their secret which sets them apart from most hosts, is the amount of thought they incorporate into the stay to make it special for each and every guest, not to mention their kind-heartedness. A special thank you to both Kathy and John, as my partner and I were absolutely blown away by your hospitality! 😊

6th and Final First Christmas!!!
Kathleen was by far the best host I have ever had the pleasure of renting from. Right from the start she was very informative and quick to get back to me. My wife and I were given the task to find a location near Schenectady so we could have our 7 - month old spend Christmas with his great grandfather. (This would be his final first Christmas). After informing Kathleen about our reason for visiting, she let us know about all of the decorations she had. My wife and I were shocked at the collection, but were so grateful to have it set up. It made for a fun snow day with our baby after we got hit with a good 6-8" overnight. Also great for pictures. The decorations are only the beginning. Check in was so easy and Kathleen left us "garbage bread" and pizza with a jar of marinara sauce so that we would have an easy meal when we showed up late at night. We were also given a bandana and treats to spoil my sister's dog. The house was beautiful and super cozy. We had a fire downstairs every night we were there and used the propane stove on the middle floor also. The view of the lake was amazing and the property was fun to explore. We had a great time with the family and it started with the generosity and caring nature of Kathleen. From the start she was amazing and that has made my family very excited to try and make it an annual trip. Thank you so much Kathleen!!!

Beautiful and Relaxing New Year’s!
Eagles Landing was wonderful! It was our first time there and won’t be our last. We were welcomed to a super clean lake house with soft music playing and a lot of goodies to snack on! The decor was really cool and some unique pieces from local artists. Everything seemed custom tailored to our trip and we couldn’t have been happier. The wind was howling for the first couple days but you would never know it with any of the warm fireplaces to keep warm by. New Years Day we caught a sunrise at Thatcher Park then hiked Paint Mine trail for a few miles. We finished up our trip watching the many different kinds of birds visit and eat seed and nuts. Thank you to Kathy and John for a super relaxing vacation after a very busy 4th quarter at work. 😊♥️ Kathy goes above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing stay.

Thanksgiving
My family had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving at Eagles Landing and we were simply blown away by the host, the house and experience!! It starts before you have even arrived with helpful recommendations from Kathy regarding things to do and see and local restaurants to visit. When you walk into the house you are greeted with a personal welcome with goodies and are treated to spectacular views and first class accommodations and amenities. The weather was cold and blustery but we stayed warm and cozy with a gas stove on the main level and wood fireplace in the downstairs area and plenty of warm comfy bedding in our bedrooms. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this place! Kathy and John have created a truly magical house where guests are treated like friends and family. We are already looking forward to our next chance to visit🤗

AMAZING Lake House
Eagle’s Landing is truly an AMAZING Lake House. Spectacular, wonderful, cozy and immaculate are only a few words to describe it. The Lake House has everything you could possibly need to rest and relax or stay super busy. Kitchen is fully stocked, bedrooms so comfy, living room so cozy, and lots of outdoor activities kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and several fires pits. Kathy the hostess is so thoughtful, informative, helpful and so sweet and caring. From the moment you meet her you instantly can see how much the Lake House means to her. And she is available 24/7. From the fresh flowers on the kitchen upon your arrival, to the fresh bread and scones and the bag of goodies to make S’mores. Super vacation home, breathtaking view of the Lake from any level or balcony you’re on, Perfect in every way. We can’t wait to come back again.

Cathy and John have created a beautiful place. The house is filled with wondrous items. The outdoor landscaping is gorgeous. The lake view is breathtaking and there are many kayaks and canoes available for exploring the lake. One can feel the love and care ( and extraordinarily good taste) of the hosts at every turn. Kathy is a thoughtful and gracious host. She left us some delicious homemade blueberry bread and all the fixings for s’mores. Also, she was available 24/7. Eagle’s Landing is a rare and remarkable find. We have stayed at many places and we can not recommend this one more highly.

Graduation weekend
Our stay at Kathys house was the best rental experience that i have had! Kathy went above and beyond to ensure that our weekend was amazing! The house was well appointed with all supplies needed. We were celebrating my daughter's college graduation. Kathy left decorations, bouquets of flowers, homemade breads... i just can't say enough about how touched i was when we arrived. We actually checked her availability calendar to see if we could return this summer! I highly recommend this rental!!!!!
