Lots of room in an a convenient location, but needs work. The steps leading down to it needed to be weeded/cleaned, the freestanding wardrobe in the larger bedroom still had folded up cardboard shims between it and the carpet it was sitting on, and first step down into the sub-basement where the kitchen/dining and other bathroom are is extremely dangerous. All of us stumbled/missed it, and one got bruised by tumbling into the blunt end of the railing, which is five feet down the wall. Continuing the handrail up to the top would definitely help. The paint was just thrown on top of the previous, with a bedroom door, walls, and trim all the same color. Casual inspection showed the previous paint underneath. The kitchen door could not be unlocked, despite everyone's efforts, and the blinds in a bedroom could not be raised on one side, despite almost hanging from the drawcord. Windows were painted shut, the WiFi was terrible, and the lower bathroom heater never turned on.
Gillian, the host, was responsive, but unfortunately wasn't able to get workers out to fix the lack of heat, water heater (which we fixed via Youtube), or stuck blinds.
