Everything was great. Home was clean, had almost everything we needed, bedding, towels, kitchen fully stocked except needed a few more.forks. we ran out between dishwasher loads.
We had such a nice stay after the winter holidays here! The home is exactly as noted, and we found it spacious and clean. My husband and I spent 4 days cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, reading in the sunlight living room, listening to the river as we lounged in the hot tub, and snuggling up in front of the fireplace on chilly nights. Just perfect!
House was very clean and a great size for our group of parents w/ 2 college age kids and 2 of their friends. It was super convenient just a few miles to Attitash ski area. Found beds very comfortable and hot tub was clean. We were able to bring our dog which saved money vs a dog sitter.
This property was the perfect size for my family for a short 4th getaway. We love the Conway NH area and it was nice to be right on the Saco river. The hot tub was a great bonus and I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to access the river through a stairway in the back yard of the property. The back deck was the perfect spot to wind down and relax at night, but also wake up and listen to the river while having a cup of coffee in the morning. Luckily it wasnât too hot without AC and the fans kept us cool at night. Would definitely stay at this property again!
Great location, but older home that is lacking TLC
My husband and I stayed at this home with our two children, 4 and 7, for a ski vacation in late February. The home is in an ideal location for this type of activity - only 3 minutes to Attitash and less than 20 minutes to Wildcat. And the view of the river from the back deck is very pretty.
Unfortunately though, our experience here had a lot more negatives than positives.
The master loft area bed is very uncomfortable. We weren't actually able to sleep in it after trying for two nights.
There is no actual door on the bathroom upstairs (just a folding shutter) and no door going down to the basement bedroom so privacy and noise is a big issue.
Although the home is shown and advertised as having a fireplace, you are not permitted to use it. This was not made clear and should be explained before booking.
The back deck had hoses and other outdoor equipment on it and had no been cleared of snow so there was no way to use the space.
There is flooring missing downstairs and there was carpeting piled up outside. It looks like they may have recently experienced significant water damage and be in the midst of trying to fix it, but more work is needed.
There were lightbulbs out in many places.
Overall, while this home is in a great location, there is lot of wear and tear and it doesn't appear to be very well taken care of. I think if some updates were made (e.g., replacing beds and adding doors), this could make a big difference.
A perfect place for a lazy weekend away the house had everything and was very clean. The hot tub was awesome and worked great. We will definitely be coming back again
My dad, mom, sister and myself wanted a getaway for the Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed our stay. The home is welcoming. The beds, furniture and outside deck are comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ambience of the property overlooking the Saco river.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The location of this property is great. If you're looking for a relaxing place, this has it. My only complaint about the property is that the access directly to the river in the back of the house is difficult because it is washed out, but there is easier access a couple houses down to the beach on the river. This is not a negative though.
The property management is easy to contact, but not very good at acting. We had a clogged bathtub and notified them, they replied but nobody came to fix.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, we just accepted the flaws.
The house was amazing. We all enjoyed the river very much! The hot tub was a real bonus especially after climbing Mt. Washington! We would be excited to get to stay at this property again!
Overall our experience was good.
The pros: loads of space, accuracy of listing, location, river right outside, outdoor space, and nice views.
The cons: No AC (and it got hot), basement was musty and got a little wet/damp due to all the rain, and dealing with any issues with Vacasa is like calling any other customer service.
A great home with unbelievable views of the Saco and the perfect amount of privacy. The house was very clean we couldnât have asked for a better place to stay for a quick 2 night trip
Stayed here to have a launching pad for a couple days in the white mountains. the river location was great! would be great in the summer to wade into the river, maybe with a tube. House was clean, had what we needed. the hottub was great.
