A Hidden Gem
Tucked away in a quiet part of Gloucester, this property could not have been more perfect for us. My husband and I are both in our mid-70's, and we travel often to Cape Ann to visit with friends and family. This rental is our favorite so far.The kitchen is well-stocked with everything one might need. Other properties often lack one item or another, so this was a wonderful amenity. The dining area is ample and comfortable. The living area is very cozy with pillows and throws and has a great television. The bedrooms have ample space for luggage and clothing, and the beds are very comfortable. Again, this is not always the case in other rentals; I have had my share of terrible beds! We loved having the two bathrooms, probably the main reason why this property appealed to us. They were beautiful, spotless, tastefully done, as is the entire house. Being just the two of us, we did not use the extra family room. However, I can see it being an excellent bonus room for folks traveling with children.Finally, Chris, the owner, could not have been more accommodating. Since no one was staying there ahead of us, he allowed us to check in early at no extra charge. Most rentals will charge a fee for early entry. He also checked on us via text to make sure all was okay and that he was available if there were any issues. There were not!We are certain to return to this lovely rental next time we head to Cape Ann.
