It was, in fact, quiet and secluded. It sits in a small community, very quiet. We were not bothered by anyone, we had no problems so we did not contact the host. The neighbor's dog came over once, friendly and quiet, he greeted us then left, not a bother at all. The cabin was neat and tidy. If you want good food, bring your own. The local restaurants are few and far between, and we didn't visit them as the reviews werent the best. For anyone complaining about the cabin, get over it. It smelled fine, was clean, and very comfortable. The lack of electronic technology connected to the outside world was a blessing, and sitting on the back deck drinking coffee in the silence of the area was reminiscent of a world long ago.
