Yavapai lodge is very close to the shuttle stop to visit points. General store was within walkinf distance. Bathroom was a little old. But no problem to take a shower.

Construction was noisy and inconvenient. Normal path walkways obstructed causing us to have to walk roadway.
This is a very nice property. It's an older resort but adequate. The price is higher than other but you can't beat it for the prime location. Everything is clean and functional. Staff is wonderful. You can't walk to the canyon rim, have to drive. Don't bring your luggage to the check in lodge, your room is at another location, have to drive there. The Grand Canyon is immensely beautiful at the sunset. We truly enjoy our trip. Thank you for everything.
Great base to see the Canyon, stock up on fuel and basics before you go as it’s expensive in the supermarket there. Room was clean with comfortable beds and fantastic coffee. Quiet and peaceful throughout, it took me 23 minutes to get to the Mather Point to see the sunrise.
Was convenient to the market and your restaurants. Ate at the brewery and staff was very nice and food was great. Beer i wanted had run out. Bartender really didn’t give other options. Could have suggested the flight. menu for drinks hard to read and flipped pages too fast.

Good looking room, nice bed yet less functional because dark and humid bathroom without circulation. Air conditioner works for just 10 mins.
The Yavapai offers a great option for families staying in the Grand Canyon National Park. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Fantastic dining options.
Very quiet setting. Convenient to everything. We stayed on East side and enjoyed it! West side under construction (Aug 2024) but didn’t affect us. Clean and easy parking. One staff men was very rude at check in but no problems after her bad attitude.

Loved the considerations given to the amount of guests staying in the rooms. We loved the eco friendly nature of the place. Will definitely come again.
Fantastic location close to the Grand Canyon which is why we chose the hotel. Whilst the accommodation is quite dated, it is clean and comfortable, the beds are very good, both in size and comfort. We were really happy with everything, and would've scored everything 5 stars, but we have to acknowledge the age of the accommodation which is why we scored it as we did. Absolutely no complaints, would stay there again, and no hesitation to recommend it if you're visiting the canyon.
This was one of our favourite places to stop on our road trip. We loved the cabin feel, it was very quiet and perfect. It was so close to the Grand Canyon, we were able to take several trips to different peeks at night and then for sunrise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Grand Canyon.
