Dumpsters were overflowing on our arrival. Homeless people in the lobby waiting to see if they would get another night paid at the Hotel by Alberta Works.

Really close to most larger shopping stores! We came from out of town to do some shopping so it was very convenient for us. They do also have heated underground parking which is nice for the winter. And free breakfast. The hotel restaurant has really good dinner! We are there 2/3 nights and wish we went all 3 haha. I had seafood fettuccine and Oscar sirloin, my husband had a chicken burger and a steak. Our son had chicken strips.

Room was decent size except couch and chair were low to ground. No freezer compartment for ice (for icing a serious injury) microwave couldn’t heat coffee in 2 minutes. Bare necessities, but cleaning staff were great. I’d definitely check out other facilities next time, but hard to rely on descriptions when you’re 1000 miles away

The hotel is a bit run down and dirty. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. There was a lot of ‘broken’ items that didn’t effect the function but makes it feel not luxurious and over priced.

Overall a great property. The service was friendly and efficient, and the complimentary breakfast was nice. The room was plain but clean and for the price it was good value. The only thing is that the fridge in the room was loud and I had to ultimately unplug it in The middle of the night after a few wake ups.
