Venez visiter Grant Florida et restez quelques temps à The Grant House. Nous avons un magnifique chalet A-Frame sur la rivière Indian qui est parfait pour le plaisir en famille, les événements marquants et les escapades tranquilles! Il y a une suite "vue sur la piscine" au premier étage avec une chambre et une salle de bain qui comprend un canapé-lit. Une plus grande suite avec une chambre et une salle de bains "vue sur le lagon" au deuxième étage avec un coin lit pour 2 personnes supplémentaires et un balcon privé donnant sur le lagon. Si vous avez besoin de plus d'espace de couchage, un loft avec nid d'oiseau offre une vue imprenable sur le lagon. Le "lagon loft" peut accueillir 4 personnes avec une salle de bain supplémentaire et un petit balcon.

Amenez toute la famille, il y a beaucoup d'espace pour vous étendre tout en restant suffisamment proche pour passer du temps ensemble autour de la piscine. Apportez votre bateau et amarrez-le à quelques pas de la maison. Profitez d'un barbecue et d'un feu de camp sur la plage, détendez-vous dans le hamac et imprégnez-vous de la vieille ambiance floridienne!

Nice stay
The deck and view is very nice. The dogs enjoyed the large fenced in yard and grass. Right next door is a great restaurant you could walk to. The property was a little hard to find but is right on RT 1 so traffic at times was heavy. The train does run right across the street so you do hear it when it comes by. About 4 miles away is a Winn-Dixie and about 10 miles in Palm Bay was a lot of shopping. We all had an enjoyable stay.

If anything happens during your stay just know that you will get a prompt response and someone will be there in minutes, This Place has you feeling like you are on your very own private island with the most beautiful view of the sunrise and visits from dolphins. The three level floors and how they are split is perfect for everyone to have their space. The best room was the third floor, if you are not afraid of heights, the balcony on both sides of the house was heavenly. Thank you for sharing your home and look forward to coming back.

Very clean, well appointed house
Each floor is its own apartment with outside access only. The hwy is 200’ from the house so you can hear traffic at night and the train goes through approximately 6 times each night. All in all a nice comfortable house. It was too cold for us to use the pool but it looked inviting in any case. The far upstairs is a good place for your smaller guests as the stairs are very small and steep like a ladder. Nice to be right on the water too.

Wedding weekend
We had an incredible time at The Grant House for my son's wedding weekend. This property was the perfect place for the rehearsal dinner we hosted for the wedding party. It was laid out perfect for entertaining. Our family played cornhole in the yard, we had drinks and dinner on the second floor deck and the kids had the perfect getaway in the birds nest! Pam was the best host you could ask for! Pam and her business partner Tom, the owner of The Old Fish House next door have to be commended for their hospitality. The convenience of having a seafood restaurant within walking distance was a plus that you could not get anywhere else. My family fished and enjoyed the dock and the yard was perfect for rehearsal. I can not stress enough about the terrific hospitality of Pam and Tom and we will definitely come back to the Grant House our next visit to Palm Bay. This was the perfect place for our unforgettable weekend.

Great house and great location! This unique property is great for families that have older children to where you can travel together yet still have your own private spaces. Property manager/owner was great to deal with and very responsive. we are looking forward to returning and making a family annual trip out of this property.

Experience was absolute nightmare. Tried communicating with hoat over issues. At fist responses were timely, but as experience deteriorated the host will not respond to my messages. Almost everything in the house was broken, train runs 3 times a night with loud horn and vibrates house, leaks in roof, ants throughout kitchen, pool in disrepair, dock has no power and no water, downstairs smells wet and kitchen counter has holes, HVAC vents drip constantly on tile and is a slipping hazard, and the stairs to third floor broke causing my son to fall down the stairs. Absolute nightmare and hoat will not respond.

Started off the trip with a call from the owner, who felt bad that she found out the grill needed to be replaced, so she immediately took care of us for that, even though I told her it was not a big deal. The owners stay in touch and will help you with any issues you may come across. The bar and grill next door was amazing. We are there for dinner twice and lunch. This house has so much charm to it, but if you don't like stairs be cautious. This house is also amazing when it thunderstorms. The sounds of the rain and the wind could put you in a deep sleep 😴,, highly highly recommend this home for your next family gathering.

Great Venue - Slightly Dated
Overall we loved our stay! The only negatives would be that none of the levels connect to get from one floor to the other you have to go outside. Also the room with the double beds is only accessible by a ladder not an actual staircase. There are also a few exposed wires and missing handles for cabinets that were a little off putting. The yard was incredible and the view amazing! If you are coming in late at night i would bring a flashlight because there are no lights outside. This place was great for the most part.

Beautiful Sunrise
The views were incredible. The house was as most people reviewed- very unique. It was as if we had three separate rentals - privacy for everyone in our group. Our 28 year old son stayed in the “tree house” and my husband and I took the 2nd floor to enjoy the deck with the morning views. Our daughter, son in law and grandson stayed on the main level when they visited and friends used the same floor when they stayed. Overall everyone enjoyed it. The restaurant next door was wonderful and the 25% discount made it even better. We will be back! Just love the Grant - Sebastian area. Did I mention all the fish we caught and cooked up?!? Thanks Pam!

The property is large and has a lot of outdoor seating. Great views. I was disappointed that stairs were outside between floors. We had several people over 65 and it harder for them to go up and down. The property manager was quick to respond.

A little water and sun is good for the mind, body, and soul
We enjoyed our stay at The Grant House. Very unique private home and waterfront property that offers plenty of space inside and out, pool for cooling off, dock for boat, and great fishing right at your back door. We had party of 11. The fully self-contained downstairs 1 bedroom apartment overlooking pool and river was hangout for Grandma and Grandpa. Living room also has pull out couch bed. The 2nd floor has separate outside entrance with kitchen, living room, bath, and large patio/balcony over pool. Includes plenty of sleeping space with 1 bedroom for parents, day bed and pullout for the 4 children. And the 3rd floor was an extra fun space for the 3 teens who were loving their Penthouse arrangement. Once you get up the rather small stairs to the 3rd floor, there is a small, covered porch and inside it is surprisingly large. Divided into two rooms, sleeping 4 or 5 and a bathroom (toilet, sink and shower). Just a note, the 3rd floor stairs are outside on the 2nd floor balcony, therefore, to exit the home, you must come through the 2nd floor sliding glass doors where the parents are, making it perfect for our grandteens. The outside property has fenced in yard, plenty of parking, large, covered area extending over half the pool which keeps water cool and prevents over burning from the beautiful Florida sun. Lawn chairs available to place in sunny spots or covered areas with tables by the pool. There is a covered grill station next to the dock with rocking lawn chairs to enjoy the breezy waterfront. Plus bonus washer and dryer upstairs and down stairs. Clearly this is older home and maybe everything is not perfect. But I paid to be on the water with a pool, not looking for every flaw in the home. We had no major problems and certainly can live with the small stuff that is just part of wear and tear of rentals. I referred to the manager anything I noticed that would be helpful to the owner. Example: water facet hose leaks on the dock. We would have turned it off but could not because it was broken. The grandchildren spent plenty of time in the pool, fishing, and just handing out enjoying themselves. And the adults did the same. This is a wonderful place to take a little time to relax and be together with family or friends for a few days. We appreciate you for sharing your home! We hope to return again soon! Thank you!

A wonderful time was had by all at this unique venue with incredible views! Communication with Pam was great, helpful and accommodating. We had everything that we needed for a weekend of both relaxation and fun. I would definitely book again without hesitation.

Beautiful location but house needs maintenance!!
My husband, son and our dog stayed here for a week. as we drove from NY. The ride was tiring but once we hit Florida we felt relieved. First let me mention the best part of our stay. The dock and view are breathtaking. My husband and son fished off the dock and we all watched the dolphins right before our eyes frolic in the water along with the pelicans, and we actually saw a manatee for the first time right next to the deck feeding on algae. BTW the restaurant next door has very good food and the catch of the day was amazing! Mahi Mahi , Pompano and Redfish. So here comes the negatives: Our first thoughts as we entered the house was that it needed some TLC. We could both see that there was zero maintenance done on this house. We noticed upon entering the driveway there was sewer water flowing out of an open pit next to driveway. Needless to say the smell was horrible! For starters, the first floor, which is a converted 2 car garage has a nasty mildewy smell. The bathroom shower had black mold in the corners and the shower liner was so nasty and dirty I almost couldn't take a shower in there. But, since the shower on the 2nd floor had no hot water in the shower we were all forced to shower downstairs. I noticed in earlier reviews that other guests complained and the rental agent replied it was fixed BUT EVIDNETLY IT WAS NOT FIXED! Also there is no hot water in the downstairs bathroom sink. All faucets need to be replaced! The second floor also has a mildewy spell as at first we didn't smell it because the AC was cranking when we arrived. So, my next disappointment was the washer on the second floor. No power and would not go on. I called the property manager Pam, who is such a sweetheart. She asked me if I wanted someone to look at it. She also suggested that there was a washer and dryer on the first floor by the pool. I opened the door and it smelled like urine. I requested to have someone look at the washer as I preferred not to have to go down a flight of stairs everyday. Well, needless to say no one ever showed up but I have to mention she did have a death in the family on this day. The kitchen faucet was so old it swiveled around and the stainless steel sink was gross. The next morning I opened up the pantry closet to find a pan to make eggs. Most of the teflon pans were unhealthy to cook on as they were not clean and had black marks on them.The refrigerator was OK but had yellow deposits of something around the edges of the glass tops. T
