Decent stay
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was a little messy. Floors not vacuumed and chairs were dusty. My biggest complaint is the heat didn't work. I turned it up to 90 and it only blew out cold air. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and clean and the pillows were soft. Very pleasant sleeping. I did like the layout and how I had another door to access the common area.

We had gone on a kayaking trip and had gotten a recomendation from there, she said it had been remodeled and under new owners, so we thought we would try it out, it was just 2 nights. I booked a room close to the pool so we could use the Hot tub after hiking all day. The website boasted the pool dome as being their best selling point. When I arrived to ck in the person at the desk, also pointed out the "Dome" area and the fact that my room was right inside the pool dome!! We get to our room only to discover it smells like mold, the bathroom fixtures were rusty, and the Pool/hot tub were completely empty and closed up!! The whole reason we booked here was for the hot tub, Nowhere did it say it was closed, not even when I spoke to the front desk about my "poolside" room!! The bed was comfortable, but thats about it. ***Oh yeah even thought the entire pool dome was empty and not in working order, they leave EVERY light on inside the dome 24hrs a day, so if your lucky, like us, and have a room by the pool, those lights will shine right in your room all night long!!

Had to walk over people in the entrance and stairways. The pool, hot tub and kitchen are closed to whenever. Booked a room in advance for queen beds and got doubles. The security door lock was broken off from the door.

It smelled so bad, we couldn’t wait to leave. No icemakers working. Pool and spa was closed. The property was beautiful at one point in history . It looks like it is under new ownership. Hopefully, they will restore it and fix it up and hire good staff. Meanwhile I wouldn’t pay more than $60 per night to stay there

I scheduled a reservation for a quick trip up north. I traveled right after work on Friday so we were going to arrive late to the hotel. Ten miles out from the hotel I received a phone call that a pipe had burst and the hotel could not have me stay. This was at 11 pm at night. No alternative, No I will help you find another room, nothing. Then because I booked third party they said I had to call expedia. After being on live chat for an hour I was told that the hotel confirmed and I would be receiving a refund. I waited three days to see no refund but the charge for the room went through and I hadn't even stayed. I lived chatted with Expedia again who told me I needed to contact the hotel. I called the hotel multiple times and could not get anyone on the phone. I then live chatted with Expedia again who says the hotel is responsible for the refund. This chat was another hour and a half. How in the world was I even charged when I didn't even stay? That should not have been allowed. So now I am waiting again for a refund for a stay that never even happened. What a joke.

They were short staffed, and the hotel is run down. They are under new ownership and are doing renovations. The pool and hot tub are both closed for repairs.

I wish i would have taken photos. Not sure what happened to this place it was in horrible condition. There are renovations going on ans offered no discounts. I am so sad we have stayed here several times. Pool was empty, leaks in roof, not clean, if i hadnt booked through a 3rd party i would have cancelled

Pool was closed for updating, which i didn't know ahead of time. Breakfast was much smaller than shown online. Room was dirty with drinks in the fridge and someone's shower poufs hanging on the curtain. Was told at check in how understaffed they were and that they would have to start canceling reservations as they didn't have enough cleam rooms available. Found some kind of cricket/stink bug/cockroach in our room when getring ready to checkout.

The staff was very friendly this hotel has potential to be great but definitely needs remodeling very run down, small stains on my sheets, hair in the bathtub, the website stated they had roll away beds but when asked for one was told they don’t have them.

I was disappointed the pool was not available. I was not informed if that when I made my reservations. Also someone on my floor was smoking marijuana. It is a very unpleasant odor.
