Good for the price. Hotel needs major updates but was close to the water, businesses and a nice area outside the walk around at. The breakfast was TERRIBLE but luckily there is a Tim Hortons nearby.

The room was spacious and clean. The lobby and breakfast room were bright and clean. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The only and very minor negative feedback would be the variety of options for the continental breakfast. The eggs were bland and tasteless. The coffee was great though. I would definitely stay here again.

The actual building entrance and front desk area looked updated but the room was a different story. It was dated, the bathroom setup was very small. I do have to say the free breakfast was very good value.

The hotel is a bit outdated, but it was within walking distance to Lake Ontario and a lovely walking path next to the lake. If you stay, I highly recommend the Olive Board for dinner. Amazing food & wine! The hotel had a hot breakfast in the AM too which was really nice.

The room had a Heat Pump in the bedroom and the bedroom was separated by a door and wall to the bathroom and sitting area with the couch, and there was no air movement in it. So it had the smell of cigarettes and stale air, even though it was a non-smoking room. Some things have been upgraded. There were holes in the couch, arms, and no pillows on the couch. I understand that I stayed with my two wiener dogs, but I was charged $100 and for that extra money I received a crappy room. Some of the front staff were dismissive and grumpy. It was an OK stay for the price but considering I paid an extra hundred dollars for two nights because of my pets I would not stay there again.

thank you, Phil and Mary for making my stay as enjoyable as possible my original room was on the first floor, looking into the parking lot, which I didn’t feel comfortable with. They were able to move me to the third floor. The orange juice can use some improvement though with the breakfast. if I had blind tasted it, I wouldn’t have known it was orange juice lol. Overall, it’s a good affordable spot.
