Hen Stabl - Une charmante écurie de caractère en pierre du 18ème siècle reconvertie

Hen Stabl est un cottage en pierre du XVIIIe siècle situé dans le parc national de Snowdonia. À l'origine, le chalet était construit comme les écuries de la maison paroissiale de Llanfair. Hen Stabl a été sauvé de la ruine et rénové à la fin des années 1990 par ordre du parc national de Snowdonia en raison de son intérêt historique important pour le village de Llanfair.

Le logement à Hen Stabl a été entièrement rénové au cours des dix-huit derniers mois pour inclure une cuisine et une salle de bains nouvellement équipées. La disposition de Hen Stabl est originale et au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez deux chambres, une salle de bains menant d'un grand couloir. Au premier étage se trouve le logement avec son haut plafond voûté, c'est un espace de vie ouvert et convivial composé d'un salon, d'un coin repas et d'une cuisine.

Il y a un grand parking sur la route à l'avant du chalet.

Hen Stabl se trouve dans un emplacement enviable pour tous ceux qui souhaitent explorer le parc national de Snowdonia, les superbes plages de Harlech et Llandanwg sont à seulement 10/15 minutes à pied de la porte d'entrée. À l'arrière du chalet, il y a un grand jardin avec plusieurs coins salons qui est partagé avec notre deuxième gîte, Ty Golchi, il y a un sentier direct à environ 50 mètres de Hen Stabl menant aux collines et à la chaîne de montagnes de Rhinog Fawr.
Nos clients nous ont dit qu'ils avaient particulièrement apprécié ce cottage pour son excellent état général. Lors de votre séjour, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Pensarn Harbour. The house is an old cottage which has been modernised to give an upstairs living area and downstairs sleeping which is perfect for affording views of the breathtaking surrounding area.The attention to detail within the home is gorgeous from the bedding and soft furnishings to the furniture placing and kitchen accessories, there is nothing additional we could have asked for.It enabled a totally restful break.The Harlech Deli and the view as you leave the house at the top of the road are things we will never tire of!We would recommend whole heartedly.

A wonderful place to relax!!If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Hen Sabl is the perfect spot.Tucked away in a peaceful location, it’s within walking distance to the beach and close to a village where you can get everything you need for a total chill-out in a cottage that’s equipped to the absolute highest standard, with a beautifully maintained garden. Honestly, you wouldn’t even need to leave—you could just soak in the calm, the silence, and the slow life that defines this place.For those seeking a bit more adventure, all the most beautiful sights of Snowdonia are within 30 minutes to 1.5 hours’ drive, but the views are so stunning that the journey flies by in a blink.We rarely return to the same accommodation twice, but the vibe here was so special that we’ll definitely be back. The hosts were very kind and helpful—they really went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable.When it comes to non-hotel stays, this one sets the new standard.

Great stay, thank you. Really easy checkin process and thank you so much for leaving us with some milk, coffee and snacks! So handy and much appreciated after a long journey. House is decorated beautifully with everything we needed and everything was spotlessly clean! A little bit disappointed that there was only enough hot water for one of us to have a shower each day, after one 5-10 minute shower there would be no hot water for a good few hours. Regarding the location, you need a car to get around to any shops etc as none within walking distance that we found. There was also no info on local area such as restaurant recommendations etc but we did find a lovely pub which served very good food the Victoria inn. Other than the above we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much!

We had such a great stay. Hen Stabl was exactly as it was said to be and more. Beautifully appointed with everything we needed waiting for us. Touches of home made our stay that much more comfortable - Gary even had a fully decorated Christmas tree in the living room for us :-)) Plenty of space for four of us with super comfy beds and lounge area. Relaxing by the log fire at the end of each day was just as we had imagined. We loved coming "home" after exploring the gorgeous area each day. We loved our visit to Wales and would happily come back to Hen Stabl.

Charming Stay in Harlech

We had a wonderful experience in this special rental. The host was so kind and space was perfect for us. Wunderschönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottages. Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber. Tolles Begrüßungsgeschenk. Die Betten waren bequem, in der Küche waren alle notwenigen Utensilien vorhanden. Mit 3 Erwachsenen und 1 Teenager kann es etwas enge werden, mit nur einem Bad. Der Garten war einfach ein Traum und wir haben schöne Abende darin verbracht. Auch kann man vor Ort tolle Wanderungen starten und im Nachbarort gibt es ein gutes Pub. Zum Strand nach Harlech ist es nur eine kurze Autofahrt. Rundum eine tolle, sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank Gary, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften.

Wundervoll!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Llanfair. Gary ist ein großartiger Gastgeber, dem es ganz wichtig ist, dass es seinen Gästen gutgeht. Bei unserer Ankunft lief schöne Musik und es standen einige Leckereien für uns bereit, sodass wir uns sofort willkommen fühlten. Hen Stabl ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Gerade der obere Bereich, der sehr hell und geräumig ist, ist total gemütlich. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts und ich kann sagen, dass es das am besten ausgestattete Ferienhaus ist, das ich je gemietet habe. Die Lage ist toll, weil man ganz schnell am Strand ist, aber auch direkt vom Haus aus wandern kann. Jeden Morgen konnte mein Mann sogar mit dem Fahrrad nach Harlech zu dem wunderschönen Laden, der Gary und Adrian gehört, fahren, um frisches Brot zu kaufen. Die Gegend um Harlech herum ist einfach wunderschön und Gary hat uns einige tolle Empfehlungen für Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren gegeben. Die Fahrräder durften wir samt Gepäckträger in der Garage einschließen, was uns ein sehr gutes Gefühl gegeben hat. Nach ein paar Tagen stand Gary nachmittags vor der Tür und überraschte uns mit einer Flasche Wein, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Wir haben uns auf jeden Fall in Wales und Hen Stabl verliebt und sind froh, dass wir dort zwei Wochen verbringen konnten. Sollten wir in diesem Teil in Wales noch einmal Urlaub machen, wovon ich ausgehe, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder Hen Stabl buchen! Vielen Dank für alles, Gary, und liebe Grüße an Adrian.
