I will start off by saying that the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately when we got to our room. The floor was dirty. It had a smell of stale food. There was leftover food in the refrigerator and an open container of soap in the shower. we were extremely disappointed that being said they did give us a new room, but no type of compensation.

Hotel was either brand new or recently renovated. It was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed in one of the rooms on the first floor and unfortunately the guest right above us were up all night and so we could hear them walking all night long. Reached out to the front desk to ask for a room on the highest floor and they were able to relocate us which we appreciated it. Breakfast can be much better but overall very good and reasonable price.

The front desk guy and staff are real decent to work with. Rooms clean. Problem was people letting their kids running through the hotel playing on elevators and stairs yelling and knocking on peoples doors. We had to yell at the kids to stop while nobody did anything about these kids with the parents sitting in the lobby. Its a new hotel so it was literally slapped together. Non of the doors lined up gaps everywhere. The hot water doesn’t exist in the morning or the night. After noon my wife had hot water to shower. Surface cleaned under the bed so much dust and dirt vinyl flooring. No microwave. Constant knocking sound coming from the room refrigerator not mounted so it knocks in the wood cabinet. Couldn’t stream Netflix. Once all the quirks are worked out then I can see charging the rates. Couldn’t sleep worth a lick to much noise. Could hear the neighbor breathing.

The first room we were given, the shower door was too big for the shower area and wouldn’t close, the staff said they had issues with the contractors that did the renovations and a lot of the rooms had an issue with the shower doors. Our 2nd room they moved us to was dirty, there were crumbs of chips all over the floor as if no one cleaned. The bathroom walls had coffee splatter stains on it. On top of all that, there were guests, teenagers and younger kids running around the hotel at 6am yelling and acting wild. They need to put “quiet hour” signs up so people who don’t have common sense can be considerate of other people that are trying to sleep. Overall the stay at this place was horrendous. I should have stayed at the Home2suites a few miles down the road. Never again staying at an Avid!

The property is located close to Hershey park, it is new, and the staff was friendly. However, our bathroom was not clean very well as we saw splatter o the mirror and hairs on the bathroom floor and shower floor. We mentioned this kindly to the front desk in the morning and it was never managed as we noticed the same mess when we returned late that evening. This lead me to wonder if other parts of our room cleaning was neglected. The property being new is it's saving grace, I hope that they maintain it well and are more diligent with there cleaning.

Ceilings seemed paper thin could hear people walking around above me on the 3rd floor. Sheets had a few stains which was disappointing . Bed was comfortable though & Facility was nice & clean, location was good. Overall i would stay again.

Excellent stay and breakfast

Brand new, great mattress and pillows. Vik, at the reception, answered all of my questions, was able to visit a room, not many people I was hesitating. Being part of the IHG group, very clean is a high priority. Breakfast, eggs, bacon, tater tots (potatoes), cereals, muffins, bagels, english muffins, cream cheese, yogourt... and clean tables.... what more can you ask for, great stay.

It was pretty new hotel everything was clean and new.We had a great time.One think will say that the pool water wasn’t warm enough so the kids didn’t enjoy like they wanted. Everything else was perfect.

We arrived at 3pm and shortly after arrival the pounding on there ceiling was continuous, I thought maybe there was a fight then later a ball, then stomping. Later the yelling of preteen children was just ridiculous. I complain 3 times with no success, then at 9:30pm I yelled at the kids to stop this nonsense with no success. I went to the office again and complained with no success. I then received phone call from one of the kids harassing me and I again reported this to the manager. He said what room was it dialed from, I said I don't know, still no success from the management. Finally at 9:45pm my elderly wife and I packed everything up and loaded the car to leave and I went to the desk again and gave the card keys back and wanted a refund and the $25 safely refund. He said to call Travelocity for the room refund and the $25 will be3e refunded tomorrow morning. This was an unbearable room rental adjust a terrible place. IU am elderly with many medical conditions and decided to drive home all night approximately 400 miles to get away from this place. I arrived home at 4:00am and both my wife and I were quite ill and feeling terrible. I want the room refund from Travelocity NOW and maybe compensation for recommending this horrible place!!!
