This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. The loft was beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy. And while it was the off-season and not amenable to outdoor adventures because of the weather, we found a bunch of really fun things to do and had a fantastic time.
There was a coffee shop right underneath the loft, which we were looking forward to trying, but they were closed on the Saturday that we were there. However, the Cocoon coffee shop, just up the road at the Silk Mill was absolutely fantastic. The coffee and breakfast was delicious. We also had a really great time on Friday night with the live music at The Dock. The food was good and the drinks were strong. Three Hammers winery was also a highlight as was Wallenpaupack Brewing. We had drinks and charcuterie at Glass at The Ledges and enjoyed it. One of the highlights was the insultingly good lunch we had at the Crazy Country Club across the street from the loft. The food was not only delicious, but the bartender was absolutely hilarious, and we enjoyed the quirky nature of the establishment. We also took an art class with Carol at The Art Factory, and can’t say enough good things about it. She was a great teacher, and even though we are terrible at art, we had a fantastic time and came away with some really great pieces. I highly recommend, the alcohol and ink class that she teaches.
We will definitely be back!
