Great Retro Stay
We really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely above average for the price. It was clean, nicely decorated, and the owner was wonderful. It is within walking distance of restaurants. Well done retro!! We go to Hawthorne for business and we will definitely stay here again.

It was ok. The clerk was a little frazzled and took a bit to get me in the right room and where he wanted me to park. I was very tired, too. The air conditioning control was out of reach, thus I had to get my cane to reach it to change the settings. The bed was so so.

Sam at the front desk was a very good host! He made sure my room was in order and the air conditioning on and everything. No extra fees or hassles and very fast check in and check out without any issues.I recommend this hotel if you’re anywhere near, it’s quiet and has a few stores and a few little casinos, recreation areas and a beach just a 7 minute drive away!

Room was very nice with 2 rooms. We were traveling with a dog, so that was a plus. Some boys checked in above us and were VERY NOISY - maybe graduation night ?? Glad it didn’t go on too late.

Clean and comfortable room and bed. Shower had great hot water and pressure. Towels nice and thick. Real coffee for the in room coffee maker…not the usual prepak “coffee”. Sam at the front desk was super nice and helpful. A really nice “budget” hotel. Glad to support a local business!

Seediest of all time. Mold in bathroom, dirty blanket, I can still smell the carpet deodorizer perfumes in my clothes, heard my neighbor self pleasuring, loud heater, no plug for bathtub, shower head was ridiculous - barely a spray of water. The owners should be ashamed of themselves

Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, several lights were out, hole in the ceiling of the bathroom plugged with a bath towel,very dated. one power strip plugged into wall was burned out, another was stripped. Exterior was clean and well maintained. Got there late at night or would of probably gone elsewhere.
