We (3 adults) stayed for six nights in August, visiting family nearby. The cottage is cute, comfortable, and well equipped. The lakefront location is lovely, and we enjoyed seeing and hearing the resident loons. It's convenient to happening Hayward and the beautiful Namekagon River. We'd be happy to stay there again. Lynn was very responsive and easy to work with.
The property is a bit of a work in progress, and we were among the first, if not the first renters -- I'm sure Lynn will continue to improve it. Some areas still needed some clearing out and/or repairs. The well water, while safe, doesn't smell or taste great. We used bottled water for drinking, coffee, and toothbrushing. The location is mostly quiet, but it's near active rail lines, and we heard train whistles at all hours, including at night. It wasn't a big problem, but it was noticeable.
All in all a nice getaway, and I'm sure it will be even better in the future.
