Our 8 night stay here was wonderful and we hope to book this property again. The view from the house towards the sound, with oaks and Spanish moss floating in the breeze and looking beyond that the beach, is one of the prettiest lowcountry scenes I’ve ever had the privilege of enjoying (and we are from the lowcountry!). We were worried the pool would be too small for our family to truly enjoy - we couldn’t have been more wrong. All the kids - ages 3 to 16 - were in the pool from morning to night and never once did they get bored with it. The pool was the perfect escape from the heat for the grownups too, staying surprisingly comfortable temps the entire time. At night the pool lights turn on, which are super fun! We brought our own pool floats & toys, but the home was stocked with all the beach items you’d need. Tons of Tommy Bahama beach chairs, lots of beach towels, and some digging toys for the littles. The beach is beautiful, unique, & practically private. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens were nice. The whole house is (and felt) high end. Couple of things to be aware of - the elevators are locked upon arrival; it says to contact the property manager if the elevators are truly needed. You should do this in advance if you have heavy coolers etc. Also, the bunks there during our July 2024 stay had signs posted stating the weight limit for each bed is 75 lbs, meaning upper elementary aged kids will likely exceed the posted weight limits.
