My sister and I met here to get away from our families for a few days and this location AND time of the year did not disappoint! During our stay the neighborhood complex was very quiet, we did really see to many other people. Once you get to the unit it’s very clear on how to get to the beach, there’s two different codes to use which we just took pictures of on our phone. The beach is a VERY easy walk and if you aren’t able you could park at Folly Field park for public access. We used the beach chairs and wagon provided in the closet but they also have sand toys, coolers, tennis and pickleball equipment.
A few issues- the VBRO address was not the same as in the actual address listed in the driving directions. I went to the wrong place briefly but got it figured out when I called the property manager. The king bed is a really firm mattress fyi. And final negative- if you are not used to condo living, the walls are really thin, you can hear everything.
We went to 4 great restaurants- Nectar, Old Oyster Factory, Skullcreek dockside and Fish Camp. The outside dining on the last 3 was perfect. Food at Nectar was divine. We also went kayaking at Hilton Head Kayaking and that was awesome as well.
I’d definitely do a repeat stay here!
