Great Choice in Saigon

Excellent hotel in a great location. Staff is very attentive, and the rooms ae great. For some reason, the plastic nut inside the tank on the toilet flush handle was so loose that the toilet wouldn't flush. Being a home owner, I raised the lid on the toilet tank and finger tightened the nut. Works great. Breakfast was fantastic.

My stay at Liberty Hotel HCMC was overall okay, but there were a few things that could be improved. The room had a beautiful view of the river, which I really enjoyed, but the large outdoor screens across the river were quite disturbing at night. I like to sleep with the blinds open and wake up with the sunlight, but this time I couldn’t because of the bright lights. On lower floors, you can also hear quite a bit of street noise. The room itself felt outdated, with noticeable scratches and marks on the furniture and walls, and it’s definitely in need of a facelift. The bedding was disappointing as well, with stains and even holes, which was not what I expected. The spa was good — nothing particularly special or elaborate, but the massage therapist did an excellent job. One major issue I had was with the elevators, which had extremely strong air fresheners that triggered an allergic reaction, causing me to sneeze every time I used them. I really hope the hotel considers replacing them with something milder. Overall, while there were some positives, Liberty Hotel HCMC could benefit from some updates and more attention to detail. Manager and staff a nice and friendly.

Excellent location, right on the river! Our room had a great view from the 20th floor and was very quiet! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice! Staff were also very helpful! We also like the rooftop pool after a day out sightseeing! They checked the room before we checked out, and very honestly returned money we’d left in the safe! Thank you!

The location is good. It has varieties for breakfast. Staffs are friendly. But the condition of my room is not as expected. The window is closed but NOT air-tight. Hence, for my room facing the streets, I can hear the traffic and streets very clearly. The water draining is quite slow. I cannot get body wash out from the fixed bottle even it is full. Except these issues, it’s fine.

Pro: swimming pool is clean, nice view of the city. Breakfast is very good with plenty of food, veggies, fruits, breakfast coffee and different juice drinks and different options for the most difficult guests. Staffs are very polite and friendly. Nice view of Saigon river. Con: no parking for cars. They have free parking for motorbikes though. Parking for cars nearby at Bitexco will cost you by the hour. For us overnight parking cost 350,000 VNĐ= $16 per night.

One thing happened. Some misguided employee use the master key early in the morning to open our door while we were sleeping look around grab our key card , and slam the door. The management said it was a case of mistaken room however they did not tap on the door to see if it was empty. Anyway, they apologized profusely and other than that we love the place. (the lesson, always use the other internal locks on your door.)

Love this place

My go-to hotel when i do business trips to HCM. Love the morning view of the river and a convenient location for exploring - ferry terminal is across the street.
