Roomy room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and the car got a roof for the night too. The car window washes were a nice touch. I liked the outlook, looking out to the central lawn area and pool. The fridge worked and managed to freeze two Esky bottles. The only complaint was there was no desk and chair. The woman at the front desk was nice enough to lend a chair, which was better than nothing, but it was too low for the bench, which had nowhere for legs under.

The property was clean, modern and comfortable. It had a toaster, crockery and a microwave, so it was possible to bring and prepare our own breakfast and to have it on the small outside table. The fridge was a reasonable size. There was a teatowel, so we were able to wash up and dry our breakfast crockery. The TV had HDMI ports. We would definitely stay there again. It is a convenient distance from Melbourne for people returning to Canberra who don't want to drive 7-8 hours in one day.

I believe the property has been newly renovated approximately 12 months ago. I would highly recommend the hotel and will stay here in the future when travelling to Sydney. Very comfortable room and it was great to hear the kookaburras in the morning an easy four hour drive back to Melbourne in a very good location.

Lovely Renovations
My stay at the Holbrook Motel was so comfortable, very clean, great bed, great shower, lovely furnishings, good towels, crockery, cutlery and glasses and a super quiet air-conditioner. My late check in was handled very well. The motel is on the outskirts of town but still walkable to dinner options.
