Hotel.com scam me.

Hotel.com stated there was parking.... they lied. Also make sure that your name matches your alia name on hotel.com this hotel will not let you claim your paid hotel room if your id doesnt match your online alia name you use on hotel.com. also told the front desk person where i can park and they said overnight parkingnis in thebarea.... cost me 89 dollars a night. Horribke experienced. Had to carry our belongings back to the parking lot to and fro because no place to park.

i love the location. it is very convenient because everything is so close to the hotel, be it for dining, shopping and of course the beach! The staff are very friendly. However, rooms are outdated. im hoping rooms can be renovated. Other than that everything was great!

the cleaning staff was great, very helpful. front desk receptionists were young and some had no clue about their job. your promo pics does not reflect the actual condition of the room that I rented. your hotel needs a much needed upgrade. I will not recommend your hotel to anyone. love the location but not the overall condition of your facility

Opposite of boutique

This hotel was described as a boutique hotel. Nothing about it was. The room is very outdated. The bathroom is tiny not to mention the sink even tinier. There is no ventilation. The street noise is loud which kept me up most nights. The parking garage is limited and tiny.

The shower handle, from 1955, came off in my hand. Super Noisy, dirty carpet, no parking, sketchy back alley entrance. Garbage piled up in front of the property on the street.

Very difficult to check in through the counter. I booked in 4 people, 2 CEOs and 2 Directors. We checked in at around 12 midnight after very tiresome flights just hoping for a good rest ASAP but unfortunately our check in turned into a nightmare especially that it cost me more as the booking was with my card. Cutting a long story short some of us were not able to pay with our cards and we offered to pay cash but was not allowed either. Due to this issues we have to cancel some of the booking and were rebooked at walkin rate. I have been to other hotels in Hawaii and were more flexible and facilitative. This is my first and last exprience with Stay Hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located - super close to Waikiki beach. We also liked that beach towels were provided at the front desk. Our first room had a bathroom that was so small, the door would hit the sink when you tried to open it. We asked to move rooms and agreed to pay an upgrade fee for a larger room. Our next room was indeed larger but was on the 2nd floor right above the restaurant/bar (we didn't realize this until night time). I was shocked by how loud the music was at night. I don't understand why they allow karaoke on weeknights until 2AM. The room had jalousie windows, so it was also loud as heck in the morning/during the day. We came at a cooler time of year, but I imagine it'd be pretty hot during summer months. Overall, this hotel was AFFORDABLE & CONVENIENT, so you can take my review with a grain of salt.

A lovely hotel

After arriving on the island at 11am and heading on the #20 bus from the airport ($3), I found the hotel around 1pm and went to see if I could check in. They had my room ready which I was very glad about and was able to check in (thank you, Mahalo). There is a resort daily charge which there is in all hotels nowadays but I knew about it as it was on everything I had read and also I received an email from the host about it - $15 plus tax per night and it covers all the incidentals. My room (805) was on the top floor accessible by an elevator. The room was clean and had a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave in it, a wardrobe area with an iron and board and a bath. There was a balcony which faced out onto Uluniu Ave and Shorfyre bar. In the lobby there were coffee pod machines available during the day and there was a karaoke bar if you’re into that kind of thing. You can borrow beach towels from the host (with your room number) and it’s about a 3 minute at most walk to Waikiki Beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again if I found myself back in Honolulu.

Excellent location very close to Waikīkī beach and plenty of food and shopping. The room itself was the perfect size for 2 of us. Staff was very kind and helpful, I loved that housekeeping came by every day to check on us and to take out the trash. Unlike other reviews, we had no issues with noise from the karaoke bar or from the construction next door (we were on the 5th floor). Make sure you get there early enough to secure your parking at the hotel since there are only about 10 parking spaces available onsite. This is the perfect little boutique hotel. It was perfect for 2 people, but I don’t think I would recommend it for larger groups or families. Also if you are looking for luxury, this probably wouldn’t be the place for you as this hotel is more lowkey and charming.
