I am still awaiting a refund for the agreed upon rate. I had to go to hospital during my stay and also had an emergency with my son at sleepaway camp. The phone in my room did not work (at all), plus their wifi was down and I had no cell reception. Not a great time for multiple emergencies. Check in was also over an hour later and the room they chose for me was directly over a school prom with music blaring until 11:00pm. I mean, directly over dead center on one floor above it.
Staff was completely ambivalent to any guest issues. The chaperone at the prom approached them looking for a wheelchair (one of the children got hurt) and the seemed completely uninterested. Their answer was simply “no”.
I had to check out to stay at a hotel closer to an A&E so I could leave my son alone in the hotel after I picked him up (obviously so I would have some way to get ahold of him) so a refund was to be granted as agreed upon by the Expedia agent and the hotel administrators. I still have not gotten the refund.
On top of that, I had to write my credit card number down on a piece of paper to make sure the refund would go through and they just left it on the front desk (and clearly didn’t completely the transaction.
There was no grace or apologies for late check in, for not having a working phone or for anything else.

A great place for a quick stay in between planes or for a staycation
We have stsyed 3 times in a year , this time we found the room very small , not too much of a problem for one night but TV is set on acwsll that you cant wstch from the bed and only one chair . Bathroom had one large towel for two people. Prices have increased somewhat since Dec £10.50 200ml bottle of presseco £24 gor a bottle of red , main courses £17,£18 it all adds up .
A tad over priced may look elsewhere next holiday

The property was beautiful and the staff hospitality was fantastic! My room however was very dusty and caused me to continuous sneeze and sniffle. The lady at the front desk swiped down my room and provided a fan which helped. Unfortunately, there weren’t any other rooms available to move to.
The room was clean and comfortable and we had an amazing view over the downs. Checking and out was quick and easy. The only downside was the soundproofing on the room door and the windows which wasn’t great. Some heavy curtains and a new room door would really help.
We stayed here prior to a flight. The staff were very friendly.
The breakfast was fine but it would have been good to have a choice of a non sugary or low sugar cereal like Weetabix.
The room was spacious with a roof lantern and no window so you felt a bit hemmed in.
Would stay again.

Hotel was very clean and well decorated, great location for our needs. A bit of a maze of hallways and stairs to the rooms. Food was good, but expensive for what it was and and also the bar was over priced.
