Hello Expedia, I want to say Thanks for booking me!! However, the experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria, was very short of a stay. I am still at a great loss with the service that we were given from the very start of me arriving. Friday started out very frustrating. Upon arrival I was allowed to check in at around 2.30 or so however I was advised that I could arrive early and would not be charged an early check-in fee so long as there were not a lot of guests checking in. After check-in I asked the reception was there a Bell-Hop, (no) so I then asked was there any more bag carts available, the gentleman stated I am not sure but in the area he pointed too, did not have anything there I stated I don't see any he then said yes it seems that other guests have gotten them and haven't returned them. I said, "Could I get one? He stated you will have to wait for one or give me a minute while he checks in this what looked like a school that was check-in when I arrived, but they had to walk away to get the remainder of rooms that was needed in order to complete their check-in. Well one became available. One that I found. So now I return to the hotel after leaving once I receive the key and drop off a few things to the room. Went to put some soft drinks into the fridge and noticed it was not w went to use the phone to call the front desk to notice that the phone line was not working either. Got ready for bed and attempted to adjust the air/heat. It was ver

Room needed upkeep

Lobby and dining area was wonderful but the room itself was lacking maintenance. Walls needed repainting, bathroom grout moldy, and the wood on the headboards of both beds had deep discolored grooves (deep scuffed looked almost like someone tried to carve in the wood), and the desk chair was even missing one wheel so sat crooked.

Great staff but needs furniture upgrades.

The staff was great even helped me out with using digital key. The Embassy used to be a great luxury hotel but it seems this hotel hasn’t been considered for renovation upgrades. The sofa still looks like 1980’s and the queen is more like a full size bed; head board was peeling off the leather covering. The bath room faucet was loose but it worked. The family still enjoyed our get away. The breakfast was great order made omelette’s and cooks were very quick, definitely deserved a good tip! The price for the stay at this hotel should probably be lower until they modernize it to fit the location.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVES

I was very upset because we was supposed to arrive on a wednesday but due to the weather we could not make it until the next day. I reached out to the hotel to let them know the situation. They told me it’s not their fault that i could not make it out there on the day of check in due to a winter storm. My flight got changed to the next day.Mind you i paid for the room in advance so i just dont understand. They made me pay for the room again. They had cancelled my reservations. I will never book with them again. The customer service was bad and the manager did not care at ALL. That was not my fault at all that the winter storm had to happen..

We love the happy hour specials and the excellent an outstanding buffet breakfast. Cook to order omelets The only thing I didn't like was the parking fee of $35 to stay at the hotel.

Not a great experience parking and AC

Hotel charged a 38 dollar for parking. Hotels .com did not disclose this charge in the website and the hotel receptionist did it mention we would be charged either. The AC in room 222 didn’t work it never warmed and we had a newborn baby. We put the ax at 90 F and still it didn’t heat up the room
