Rooms are horrible, I understand it’s an old building however, the rooms it’s self a strong dirty or sewer smell to them. Carpets have never been cleaned, there are stains all over. My room had a dirty towel left behind. Sheets were very old and uncomfortable. My biggest issue was the key kept getting demagnetized and I had to constantly need replacement key cards. Building was leaking water from ceiling. Sketchy elevator

My room was a good size I’m happy with that. My son slept in the sleeper sofa and he said he felt the springs hurting him on his back. Called front desk to ask for more blankets and pillows so we can cushion the sleeper a bit more . But they said they didn’t have any more, we would have to speak with management. This was late at night when we are exhausted. Also jacuzzi was not working. Not hot at all it was slightly warm. And with no lights to see where we step in. Hazardous. Breakfast was boiled eggs. Nothing savory like sausage to go with it. Just had bagels and bread and cereal. I’ve stayed at other Quinta hotels and nothing like this. I expected more from being in Irvine. Also when asked to have late checkout through the app they said I had to go to front desk to speak to management because they couldn’t do that. But they have that option in their app and I was willing to pay the extra fees. I’m trying to sleep in longer that’s why I want the late checkout but they insisted I had to go in person to show my ID and card, when they should have it on file. If they are gonna make me do all that then there’s no point in getting late check out. (Why have that option in the app) Not happy at all.

Overall our stay was fine. Strong smell of cleaning products when we arrived. Very affordable per night and a good location. There are 2 buildings, 1 much like most La Quinta hotels and 1 much different. I’m assuming that’s where the suites were. I will try to book one of those at a later date. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast with cereals, fruits and such… enough to get you going

Dirty, humid, drain doesn't work in bathtop, water was stucked. We changed rooms and it was the same. Toilet was broken and running water all night. We stayed 3 nights and they never clean the room. We love La Quinta but this time we had a terrible experience.

It was good, but the only thing was the shower drain. It wouldn’t drain. It would but it would take its time. Even after you shower it’ll be a pool of dirty water in the tub slowly going down. But other then that it wa good

So noisy. Train right outside our window, requested to move, but they said there weren't other rooms ready. Also, pool closes too early, so we couldn't use it after going to a theme park all day.

The photos of our room type online showed a sofa. Since we had three adults, we figured that would work for us. When we arrived, we were told that the photos simply showed *possible* furniture items. I slept on the floor. Not exactly what I thought I would be paying for.
